I have a lot of positives to share about this site, with a couple of concerns as well. The room was very clean and nicely appointed. When we arrived, we were a bit early (20 minutes before check in at 4:00) and were greeted by an employee who was in his car having a break. While I am sympathetic to the fact that breaks are important, I believe good customer service would have indicated that since we had driven for hours we could have been checked in a bit early. Fortunately, there were some stores nearby to occupy our time until after 4:00. It was a comfortable, quiet night and we were ready for breakfast at 7:30. It appeared that the breakfast was not fully set up as there was no cereal or bread/bagels/muffins/etc. We did eat a waffle and drank coffee, but felt we were short changed. I did ask about it when I left the breakfast room and received a "Sorry about that", with no indication that someone would deal with it. When I checked in, I specifically asked if the stay had been registered for the "Stay 2 Nights, Get One Free" promotion. The attendant didn't have an answer, but assured me he would take care of it. When we went out for supper, he called out to me to tell me it had been taken care of. Apparently it hadn't because when I called Customer Service to obtain further info, I was told that there was no record on file. We will probably stay at this site again as its location is convenient, but I will be quicker to speak up in the future. As an aside, I did not receive a survey from Choice Hotels about our stay and can't seem to find a site to provide this feedback.
