Hotel Miyuki Beach

I was going to go all out with a scathing review but held back because for the price it was good (Y3,500 pppn - 5 of us including breakfast). Room was fine and spacious - two beds plus tatami area which could have slept more than our 3. Someone mentioned lack of a mini-bar but there is a Lawson Convenience Store just around the corner to stock the fridge which is how I like it anyway. Large public bathroom decent size. Forget about dinner - so-called barbecue is indoor and at your table - didn't not smell nice. It is not long to drive somewhere so no big deal unless you want to drink. We had a great Hawaian takeout one night and had it on the beach. Beach staff - one poser who reckons himself, says nothing, no smile and looks like a Yakuza. The female staff is beside herself with rules - you can't snorkel without a life jacket (need to rent of course) even though you can stand up to your waist for at least 100m out. We ended up walking across the small estuary to the next beach although when she was not around, there was a chiller younger guy as long as you entered the water 100m down the beach (left facing the ocean). Was very surprised that you had to rent the beach chair and parasol - other rentable items being volleyball and being taken on a tube (various but probably at a speed which would be for toddlers) or behind the driver on a jetski (seems like it is like that all over the island). Since the room was cheap, I suppose that they need to get the money back somehow but it kind of ruins it (add another Y500 to the price and include the chairs rather than incur the ill-will!) So the private beach was not as terrific as on the brochure but it was a nice view. Breakfast was as low as the cheapest minshuku but, again, price was low (make your own coffee in the room or go out to a breakfast joint after). Wi-Fi only in the lounge area which was a bit cheap of them. Front staff were polite and helpful. Location convenient for what we wanted to do.

It was my first stay. I stayed at Obon. I think the staff were polite and nice. I felt that the dinner was French and delicious, but I wish I had a little more tension, probably because I was expecting it. Breakfast is a little bad. Unfortunately, there seems to be some space to stock linen or something in the space right under the room, so there was a time when the hotel service car stopped every day, so I didn't have the privacy I expected. , Even when I saw it from the pool, the staff remained there without greeting. It was a little annoying. I don't think it's possible that the service flow line is right in front of you. The water quality of the private pool is good, but the tension has decreased due to some rust on the tiles and the spraying part of the walls peeled off. I think it's time for maintenance. The tension dropped due to the instructions on the highest water level in the bath. I felt a little depressed, probably because my expectations were too high. The refrigerator was free and tension was raised, but if there was 100% juice, the tension might have risen. Room service was also disappointing at night as a snack. Well, it's a price with dinner, so some people may think it's cheap, but I didn't get excited at all, so I wonder what it's like. However, the staff were all polite, so I was able to spend a relaxing time without getting angry. I hope the food will be improved in general.

On his birthday, I used it last year and this year. The view, rooms, staff and service were all very good. For lunch, I had a light lunch with the hotel's private beer and spent a relaxing time. I was happy to have red wine at cocktail time this year. The dinner was also great. The attentiveness of the staff is very good. I want to go again next year.

The facilities are old, but you can directly connect from the basement of the hotel to the beach. The room may be due to the type, but the Japanese room was also adjacent, so I was able to spend it relaxing. There is a bus in the room with a business hotel type toilet bath tub, but there is a large bath in the basement, so you can take a bath. Because it is an old type hotel that can be stayed on a school excursion, WIFI was not available in the room. There was Lawson in a walk 2~3 minutes.

Very disappointing stay. Except for very good wifi there's little that's good here. Room is not comfortable and poorly arranged. Need to walk through galley kitchen to get to bathroom. Bathroom is tiny, even for Japan. It has cooking facilities, but need to request extras such as plates, spoons, etc. They did not provide extra glasses/cups so stuck with one bathroom cup for entire stay. Not that it matters as nearest supermarket is over 30 minutes drive. Front office staff sent us to Lawsons (like 7-11) which was a 10-minute walk down the hill. Bedroom smelled like mold, even after running the AC. They charge extra for many things that are normally standard. Nespresso machine in room, but they charge extra for capsules. No possibility of late checkout with out more charges. Staff did not know where we could rent or book snorkeling trips. They sent us to a pretty bad beach. It was close, but there are so many other nicer options. There is also no breakfast or other food service on site except for cup noodles, soda, etc.

Second visit due to corona misfortune. This is a nice hotel where you can relax without worrying about the public eye. I didn't enter the pool this time, but the pool here in the summer is really great! Small but flowing pool! There is also a natural beach about 30 seconds on foot. Daily breakfast is also delicious! Just the right amount for women! The staff treated me with a good sense of distance, and if I had any problems, I consulted them and they were happy to take care of me, which was very helpful~ We don't serve dinner, but you can have a BBQ if you make a reservation in the summer only! Seafood was also included and it was a satisfying content. It seems that reservations for charters are also accepted, so if you have a large family, I think it would be great to charter. I'm thinking that next time I'd like to rent it out with a friend. thank you very much!

Host was very communicative and available before and during stay. COVID protocols limited local restaurant options during our stay, but there are several nearby. There is a Lawsons bodega, convenience store within 5 mins walk as a nice back-up plan. Otherwise, the room was cozy, convenient, and clean. We initially thought road noise might be an issue due to proximity to the roadway -- but had no issues with it. We checked in with no contact with staff. The room had a very nice bathroom with a great shower, and it also had a little kitchenette. We didn't use it, but it looked nice and functional. It also had two twin size beds and good climate control. I recommend.
