I had a wonderful stay at Sinclairs Retreat, Ooty. The resort’s location is absolutely breathtaking, offering panoramic views of the Nilgiri hills and a peaceful environment to relax and unwind. The property is well-maintained, clean, and beautifully designed, blending comfort with nature. The staff were warm, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile, making the experience even more memorable. The food was delicious with a good variety, and the service was prompt and attentive. What stood out most was the serene atmosphere and the care taken to ensure guests feel comfortable and well looked after. Truly a perfect place for a refreshing getaway in Ooty. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) – Highly recommended!

Amazing hospitality. Especially “Abhishek”, who gets all the things we ask, he gets us with a smile in the face. Great ambience and must visit spot.

The hospitality here is truly warm and caring, with staff showing genuine respect and kindness to their guests. I highly recommend visiting this place to anyone seeking to enjoy the breathtaking Doddabetta Peak valley, ***** with nearby attractions such as chocolates, a tea factory, and thrilling adventure sports.

The staff service is nice. Rooms were very badly maintained. Faucet and tap leaking. Bathrooms are extremely small. Given We paid 7000 for the room, we were very disappointed

It was amazing. Great views. And Naveen at the reception was really helpful. The View you get here is like you are a view point always.

Excellent hotel with great facilities and comfort, especially the services and warmth by Mr. Abhishek and Mr. Khan was outstanding.

I had a terrible experience during my stay at the hotel for two days, on 30th and 31st December 2025. The entire property had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the rooms were in very shabby condition. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. For instance, when I complained about the poor hygiene and foul smell in the room, the receptionist, Naveen, responded rudely by saying, “Have you visited the entire hotel to complain that all rooms are stinking?” We had booked two rooms, and both were equally poorly maintained. Upon arrival, the staff informed us that there was a complimentary high tea for guests between 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM. However, we were completely appalled to find that this “high tea” consisted only of tea/coffee with biscuits and namkeen. After a long commute, we requested something more substantial to eat, and sandwiches were provided at very high charges, which was unreasonable. We had also opted for the 31st night package, where the gala dinner was mandatory. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst New Year’s celebration I have ever experienced. From the starters to the dinner, everything was below average. There were no activities or entertainment at all, and the event ended so early that most guests went to bed by 9:00 PM. Hardly anyone stayed until midnight, as it was the most boring New Year’s party imaginable. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and not at all worth the money spent.

I had to put on a hat in bed to get warm enough to sleep. Took 3 calls, a visit to reception and over half an hour to get towels. Look at pic to see the view from my room. Great potential, but did not deliver.

Staff service was very good. Navin on reception was very helpful. Rooms were average. Room needs heaters. Lunch, dinner and food variety needs improvement.
