Great location at hill top Room interiors can be better finished Fresh air source to rooms to be added

We felt amazing at the property as this was indeed beautiful and located on hill....the view from the property is superb and breathtaking.

As for the management, the government is keeping tabs on foreigners asking for all the documents for legally entering the country. It’s really hostile for management to act like immigration officers. And then bothering again and again because they made a mistake in filing some government intimations forms about a foreigner being here. No other hotel system in other states have bothered me about my documents even after I entered this country legally. They placed us in a corner and forgot about us. Room service only showed up after 3rd day, room cleaning. Overall, this place is just a fancy looking place with poor services. FYI their food was horrible, it tasted like rubbish, weird blend of spices that didn’t even felt like Indian food. I ordered Gobi Manchurian and some fries that arrived cold. Outside food is not allowed, so I had to walk a quarter of a km away in the cold so be prepared. 4 star resort with 2 star service.

Positives - Comfortable beds. Nice views. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Negatives - Wifi didn’t work. Service was painfully slow.

Hotel location is good......Common areas are well maintained however the rooms are not as reflected in photograph on the website....Restaurant is not well managed although the staff is good but I feel there is a lot of scope for improvement. ...Buffet breakfast is good....Biryani taste was good....Food in general was good...Had to wait for more than 30 minutes for the hotel staff to transfer my luggage from room during checkout.....There was a lot of difference between the price as mentioned on trip.com and directly with hotel.....Trip.com was less for the same Privilege Suite....

Stay was outstanding ... Front office staff Mahadeb,suraj, Anandhraj,suprava, Siddharth welcomed so nicely and a view room Bakery chef ms. Vaishnavi made our day by providing a nice cake.... Restaurant staff sadhiur and Sangeeta serviced so nicely ...

Stay was outstanding... The staff are really really good starting from front office , housekeeping ,kids area, restaurant ..... Food have lots of varieties and delicious ... Mahadev from front office gave a nice welcome with a nice welcome drink and gave a nice view room

Service is really ... Staff are really good and kids friendly specially mahadeb.... Discovery central have lots of games .... Kids are really happy with the outdoor and indoor activities.... Must visit resort in Ooty ... Thanks a lot to all the staff to make our vacation wonderful

Had a pleasant stay during the independence day weekend with family and enjoyed picturesque views of Ooty from hotel room... resort is located near to Lake and botanical garden so easy to travel around if going by own vehicle...buffet service needs lot of improvement but overall recommended

Fabulous stay with awesome locations and views. welcoming staff at restaurants and room services. Mahadev was helping and very co operative.. he did briefly given overlook of the nearby places to visit. Food is very delectable and have lot of varieties

It was great to stay with this strling elkhill property very nice view and pleasant weather warm welcoming staff ,restaurant staff and house keeping staff is also so co operative i will specailly mention sharif uddin from house keeping department his cleaning method is very good he makes the room too neat and clean and mr.sarnesh from restaurant staff was also very co. operative and helpful each and every time . he become my daughter’s favorite uncle in just a day he is very professional and nice person . Taste of food is really nice . It was fun to have games And dj in the evening at play area Thank you for make our stay wonderful

We were at The Sterling elk hill the other day. We were received by a lovely team in the lobby. The front office manager Mr. Goutham was really smart and went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable. Goutham is a real professional who understands the requirements and tastes of each guest. We were really honoured when the General Manager Mr. Suresh himself walked down the meet us. Chef Sathya's dinner spread for the evening was awesome. I was a kindergarten teacher many years back. The most memorable moment of the day was when my student who was also staying there as a guest identified me and came running to hug me. We shared lots of memories from those days when she was a little girl. Those moments spent at the Sterling Elk Hill will remain as a treasure in my heart. We will come back for sure.
