Hotel Fera Anaheim, a DoubleTree by Hilton
4.2/5122 Reviews
I’ve stayed at couple Doubletree hotels but this property doesn’t meet standard. I’m okay staying at old properties but I believe operators should at very least maintain the property to keep it up. The furniture inside the rooms were rundown broken, lobby elevators keys were falling off. Room interior is dark, light switches don’t work. No standard things inside rooms such as blow dryer, soaps, shampoos, coffee machine with no coffee. Would not recommend staying here, would strongly consider Doubletree Anaheim Convention Center appears to be more updated and well kept.

The location and breakfast in the morning were all great! There was a laundry space and it was very helpful. Finally stayed at a famous hotel near the airport The hotel in Kochira was overwhelmingly good! I will stay again!
Embassy Suites by Hilton Anaheim Orange

Checked in about two hours early with no problems. Nice quiet corner room on the tenth floor with two comfortable doubles facing Angels Stadium. The two elevators never kept us waiting long. The breakfast is really great and the items offered were changed each day. What I really like about this hotel is that it is very convenient being right off the highway exit and not at all that far from Disney. There were games at the stadium every day and I think a lot of fans stay here, but we never really had much difficulty parking. I hate walking all day at the park only to then have to walk half a mile from parking to a hotel room. This hotel has very easy access. I like a hotel with a pool with enough area to sit out and get some sun. We've stayed at the Ayres Orange and their pool doesn't really make the grade because of a lack of space. At the Embassy Orange, you step out of the elevators, and right there off to the side is the gym. Then with key access, you enter the indoor pool area. The water is warmer than the outside pool and not as deep. Great for kids. Then you arrive at the outside pool which is quite large and surrounded by lots of lounge chairs. And the water is deep at 5' 6” in much of the pool. I don't care for hotel pools that are 3.5 ft deep. I mean why bother? This is the perfect hotel for our needs. The hotels on Harbor are nice, but parking is usually a nightmare finding a spot or valet only. The bathroom at Embassy has a tub plus a walk-in shower. The tubs do not have a shower. Each adult guest gets two free drinks with snacks during reception which runs from 5-7 PM daily. We've both been Disneyland pass holders for years and we've stayed at many of the hotels near the park. This is our second time staying at this hotel and for us, it really fills the bill. Plus for me, the pools make it a no-brainer. We stayed three nights over the weekend and I swear I had the entire outside pool to myself for almost two hours on Sunday afternoon. It was heaven.
