We visited between Christmas and New Years. This place is right on the beach. You can walk from the pool area onto the beach. There are several grills and cooking areas outside. There is also a fireplace to help keep you warm. We grilled steaks while we were there. The only issue we had was the smoke alarm kept going off and they didn’t have time to fix it until the next day. One bedroom was ocean view and the other wasn’t. Both had on suite bathrooms. Would recommend

This was a wonderful experience, and we had absolutely beautiful weather the entire week of our stay to enjoy all the amenities.

We have been coming to the Shores since 2009. It has always been wonderful. The units are very large and clean. The front desk staff, Heather, Ashlee and Cameron are among the best around. Kevin, General Manager, keeps everything running smoothly. I highly recommend Escapes to the Shores!!!

Beautiful view & clean facilities. Please be advised, this is not a hotel. The ‘24 hour security’ is not 24 hours. There are instances where there is no staff; during this time, no one answered the phone, nor did they return calls. The building is not secure. I came into the lobby from the street after the Mardi Gras parade, along with others from the street. No questions asked and I had never seen the man on shift before. There is a quiet time; however security nor staff were there to quiet down the guests. Since the property doesn’t do the booking, I’m not sure what authority they go have, other than calling the booking agent of noisy guest who is not compliant. The door to the parking lot on level 1 would remain open even though a key code required. They don’t recode or have smart keys (programmed) to prevent guests from returning to access the facility (or giving the code to friends or family). The indoor heated pool was great; the hot tub was closed, The PM stated it was open; they are not on site to verify. I don’t know how far away their office is. There is free laundry just outside the units which is convenient.. There are no meals availlable on the property. In the rare instances you can find staff in the office, they only sell nachos. Vending is on the 3rd floor and ice machine is near the pool (ground floor). Neither are on other floors where guests are. I wanted to buy a towel and some other items from the store and over the course of a 4 day, I only saw the lobby/office/ store manned 1 time during their open hours. Please note this is where you must buy your $40.00 parking pass (closed all day 2/22/2024, but required for an overnight stay. The property management company defers to the HOA, and the staff defers to your host (PM or whoever you booked through) who rented out the unit for the owner or person whose time share stay was inconvenient- subletting).

We go here every year for our Anniversary! The rooms are always clean and supplied with what you need to start your vacation. Friendly service! Beautiful view of the Gulf from our balcony. We always enjoy coming back to this place. Nice comfortable beds. Two pools, outdoor grills, hot tub, Sauna, and fitness center.

We loved this resort. Right on the beach, nice indoor and outdoor pools and great balcony views from unit of beach. Very spacious 2 bedroom condo. Murphy bed in living room with plenty of space. Modern and everything in good condition. Easy parking, check in and out. Walking distance to a couple good restaurants. Grocery stores a short drive. No problems. Resort contacted us via text to make sure everything was going well during our stay and good communication about maintenance coming in our room and when. (They installed 3 new tvs while we were here). Kids 8, 10 and 12 loved it, too. We had a great trip!

I have stayed at Escapes 5 times. 1504 is the worst unit of all. Complex is very nice and all units are very spacious. This unit is very poorly equipped in the kitchen. Doesn’t even have a oven mit/pot holder. Having to use a towel to get things out of oven and burned hand twice already. Called Vacasa to request help and nothing. Mold in shower ceiling is disgusting. Don’t hesitate to stay at Escapes, but don’t select this unit.
