A beautiful location next to the Rock River is the best feature of the hotel. The room was large and had a mini refrigerator and microwave. The wifi worked well and there was coffee in the lobby. The front desk is not staffed 24 hours and the rooms are not cleaned every day, but neither is my house, haha. There is a bank and two restaurants sharing the parking lot but otherwise nothing is available within walking distance. A quick five minute drive gets you to anywhere in town.

Rented room 152 Friday night. First hotel room I have gone to with a fireplace. Also had a jacuzzi. Room was clean. Bad part was the air conditioner did not work well. The hall was cooler. Could not be switched to another room due to full house. They told me they would take off the pet fee and another amount. Also gave me a fan. I guess this room has had problems in the past with the air. It is good location close to outside door. The breakfast was good. No take and grab breakfast. The pool looked good but cool water. Didn’t have chance to use it though. The staff was as helpful as they could be. I would go back.

Breakfast is not self-service, the waiters are all Mexican. There are a lot of restaurants around, and you can walk around in the evening. The room is very clean, the air conditioning is not busy, it will be fixed next time.

Did not allow people to check in early. After being told on the phone we can (drive 3 hrs wanted to change before attending a wedding at 1). We came back between the ceremony and reception had 5 mins until 3pm. She rudely said to other it isn’t 3pm. The guy ahead of me said well we have been waiting a very long time and it is 2:55. Very poor customer service!
