We spent two nights at this picturesque hotel in Órgiva, enjoying the most amazing views and dining in the hotel’s bar‑restaurant on both evenings. The bar and hotel are well known in the area and frequented by both locals and expatriates, all of whom were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. What truly stood out for us was the excellent customer service. Manuel, the owner, along with Francisco and Anna in the bar‑restaurant, and Miriam at breakfast, all went the extra mile to accommodate our needs. Their warmth and attentiveness made our stay feel very special. The food was absolutely delicious and full of the region’s character. The bar itself is cosy, lively, and full of charm. We want to thank the entire team — we will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel.

The owner clearly knows we are English yet rants on in Spanish, why, especially as he speaks English, a Jack the Lad character, the room itself was fine, no fridge which one would expect in a suite, coffee making facility in the room but no milk, apart from that it was ok, a bit dated but ok, heater worked great, Orgiva itself is a bit of a drab and a let down with only one bar and restaurant open.

Spoilt only by the weather! Perfectly situated for walkers and cyclists. We were visiting family. Only minor complaint is that coffee and water in the room were t checked by housekeeping we had to ask at reception.

Disappointed We booked a Junior Suite for one night. The room was basic. The curtains were untidy. The plug in the bathroom sink did not fit. We were not made aware that the restaurant would not be open for dinner in the evening. On checkout at 10am reception was unattended, so we left our key on the desk. There was another resident waiting in Reception who seemed to have a problem and needed attention but had been waiting sometime. The hotel is very noisy and not at all restful.

Is this the worst restaurant in Orgiva? Went there late December and wished we had not. The service is minimal and the food is absolutely dire. I had the Secreto Iberico which was poor. My wife unfortunately chose the lamb chops and all she got was some burnt inedible bones, no meat. If you want my advice, steer well clear of this dump of a restaurant. If I could give it no stars I would.

Great food at very good prices - super restaurant, Tomahawk steak is to be recommended all this plus attentive very good staff make it a very good experience. Toilets are spotless - very important. I would recommend this hotel to all, not our first visit and we will be back. David

This hotel was booked at very short notice when an AirBnB booking fell through. From the moment of booking, through arrival, check in and all other services, these guys were exceptional in their guest services. They welcomed us at a late hour, provided drinks and tapas with a smile (and the tapas were free of charge). The rooms (with balcony) were very good value, spotless and comfortable. Considering this was only rated 2 stars, it was truly amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to both go back again and recommend it to others. Outstanding.
