Stayed in a junior suite for 3 nights whilst visiting family. Beautiful views of the golf course from our balcony. Room clean and comfortable. Only had breakfast in the restaurant and it was perfectly acceptable but could have been improved as did run out of things which weren’t replaced. Staff were polite. Pool looked lovely but too cold for us at this time of year! We had a problem with our bill payment as went through twice and we only noticed on return home but the hotel quickly sorted this. We will definitely use again

Disappointed specially with restaurant waiters more intrested in preparing breakfast than serving dinner guests, didnt even improve when we complained, and in breakfast you have to ask for everything very poorly filled up specially juces and such, rooms were much better and frendly staff there .

I played golf on the hotel course on October 13th we played at 12 midday and paid €83 each 3 of us, we went into the clubhouse to pay , the receptionist was barely interested in us as she was talking a phone call while serving us, I had played this course around 20 years earlier and had good memories of it , unfortunately I no longer anything other than bad memories, we got to the first tee we all teed off, when we got to the green we found out why every other course in the area was fully booked but this course had space, the greens were completely unusable the extent of the disease in the greens was complete, wherever you would land on the green you were faced with a put through potholes, if we were told about the state of the greens before we played we would not of gone out there but they should of said something to us even though it would risk us pulling out, I took pictures to illustrate what I am saying, they must of run out of money, they certainly will if it continues in this state, I will never play this course every again ( wast of time and money)

We stayed at Campoamor hotel and it was a great stay at hotel breakfast a mile better than previous stays cooked fresh for each person and great spread of fruit great service, room comfortable and clean we stayed at Campoamor as a base to play golf and it worked out well with several top class courses in a short driving distance, we all agreed the hotel was better than our previous stays and would return

Tranquil location and a place with a lot of potential. Food was good in the restaurant but bit expensive. Had better breakfasts in 4-star hotels. Some staff very friendly, others could improve. The set up of the hotel is great but it definitely need some upgrading to be a 4 or 5 star hotel again

Brilliant hotel. We needed a hotel in the villamartin area as we were on a house hunting mission. The location was ideal. You need a car or taxis if you aren’t there for the golf as it is quite far from everywhere. The hotel is lovely. It is quite dated but as a base it was great. It is immaculately clean and so is the room. We stayed in room 202 and it overlooked the front of the hotel (it was a twin). The bathroom was modern with a tonne of consumables in case you forgot anything (including toothbrush / comb / sponge etc etc). I used a makeup wipe and the next day the housekeeping had noticed and replaced it which I thought was excellent attention to detail. The room also had a mini bar (stocked) / small fridge. The downside to the hotel is the lack of information anywhere! Not even a hotel manual in the room nor a QR code linking you to anything. We hadn’t booked breakfast and nor could we find the price anywhere. There’s no minibar price list (we had a Fanta and it was only €2.50) even though it isn’t expensive. There wasn’t a map anywhere either explaining what was where in the grounds, nor a list to explain what time things open and close. The information needs improving! The outdoor pool is huge with grass rather than tiles around it which is nice. It was really quiet even though we were there in August. Plenty of parking for those hiring a car. The on-site restaurant / bar is really reasonable. A bottle of nice wine and two big bottles of water was only €14. Great hotel for the price but they need to provide more guest information!

Firstly, we booked a double only to be given 2 singles beds. We went to reception where the receptionist was grumpy, rude and extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. The room was on the first floor and the hotel has NO lifts which made it uncomfortable to have to carry suitcases upstairs in 38oC heat. The internet was intermittent for our 2 day stay and when it did work returned between 1 -3 mbps. This is NOT a 4 star hotel, it is a 2 star at best. The finishings in the room were dated and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast was extremely poor and the female staff grumpy. Overall, very disappointing stay and would not return.

Recently wen to this hotel with 8 friends to play golf . We picked it as we came here last year and had a great time . We had another great time ….. staff were fabulous , again, and hotel was as expected . All in all another great experience . Will book again next year . Thank you .

We have visited this charming restaurant many times over the last 2 months, after my husband has used the driving range. We have enjoyed every meal, whether we have dined inside or outside on the terrace with terrific views over to the Mar Menor. The inside is particularly lovely, with white linen and glasses on every table. The staff and service has been excellent, every time. Our visiting friends also really enjoyed this restaurant and requested revisits a number of times over the 3 weeks that they were with us. We will be back. Well done everyone.

I have previously left excellent reviews for the hotel restaurant. It was always good food and excellent value. Visited in June 2022 for probably the tenth time and it was still excellent. However we visited for lunch today and we were very disappointed. The waiter was surly and seemed to be avoiding doing any work. We ordered a drink and asked for the menu. We had expected in the present economic climate that prices would have increased 10 to 20 per cent, even 30 per cent may have been acceptable. However in the 5 months since our last visit, all the food prices had exactly doubled. I cannot see how this is justified. We didn't order food and had our drinks and left. I noticed very few people had anything to eat, just had a drink. I saw some look at the menu and return it without ordering food. It rather spoilt for us what had been a special place to lunch.

I know times are tough but there is a lack of investment here and it’s starting to show. For example, I used the driving range and it was terrible: - most of the mats are threadbare - In a bucket of 20 balls, 6 were broken (big chunks missing) and the rest were dirty - the guy driving around picking up the balls from the range took forever - this was because his trolley hardly picked up any balls; it’s clearly useless. This meant he had to go over each area several times (and probably explains the damaged balls). I know the range is cheap but that’s pointless if the facilities are poor. I was considering membership but will now look elsewhere. The lack of investment shows here and in the service at the restaurant etc.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. This hotel must be avoided. Booked a Junior Suite, only to be given a standard twin. Then to be told this room was a Junior suite. Liar. The management team needs to review this standard of service. Simply unacceptable. Maybe something to do with the plush wedding at the hotel. Final straw was when the receptionist offered a standard room price. I'm a world traveller, and this is the No1 worst experience ever.

Beautiful grounds, peaceful , helpful staff. The room was lovely overlooking the golf course. The buffet breakfast was very good. The drinks were really reasonable for a hotel Would definitely recommend and return

We were visiting here to watch our football team Preston North End in a training match. We saw the training ground for the match and then went up to the restaurant for lunch. We ordered pizza and fries and omelettes. I ordered roast chicken salad which they forgot. They then brought me chicken and apple salad which looked like coleslaw and nothing like I expected. I sent it back and the Waitress said 30mins for roast chicken. It didn’t say that on the menu! I settled for bacon and onion pizza which was average. Wouldn’t eat here again The outside terrace is lovely in the sun though
