Rosen Inn Closest to Universal

Customer service was this hotel was appalling and shockingly bad. We arrived late at night and the key card to the room wouldn't work. Wasted more than 1.5 hours going back and forth between the door to the room and the lobby and having a repairman change the door batteries following which the key card entry still wouldn't work. I inevitably told the receptionist Josh Smith to change rooms immediately rather than have us faff about waiting for someone to fix the door. He told us there were no other rooms available and the hotel was fully booked which was a completely lie as I saw on trip.com that booking were still available. After more than 1.5 hours of faffing about at midnight they gave us a different room which miraculously became available. The attitude of Josh was awful and not helpful but arrogant. He would serve multiple ppl at the same time rather than focus on the customer in front of him. Are changing rooms they didn't bother updating it on their system in order for us to connect to the WiFi network and the staff there lack common sense. When we checked out they said we couldn't store our luggage in the storage room which is ridiculous because when we looked at the storage room there was plenty of space in there. Staff were self imposing stupid rigid rules like we can't move a bag on the shelf to squeeze your bag next to it or all your bags have to be adjacent together. Absolute nonsense and no pragmatism. Even when I asked reception about the the red bus route they refused to give any help. Why work at a hotel and in hospitality of you can't be helpful at all. Worst hotel I've stayed at and worse customer service ever. Won't be staying here again. Others should go elsewhere if they dont want to put up with lack of common sense, pragmatism and stupidity.

The rooms are only cleaned every three days and bed made every 3 days. This is not on, people look forward to coming back from the parks bed made rooms cleaned. This his only happened recently.

Very convenient budget hotel. Room was large, allowed early check in. We only used it for overnight sleeping and getting to universal. It is as close to universal as their own resorts. There was some noise as the walls are thin but other than that the hotel exceeded our expectations

Went for football tournament. Location was great. And staff was friendly. But I was a little taken back when they didn’t clean my room for the first day, I had to call and ask why. They told me they only clean on the fourth day so I asked them to start cleaning my room since I was gonna be there for three nights so they clean the second night.

First time staying in Rosen Inn Pros: Shuttle service. Workers are good people. Cons: cheap appliances (hair dryer was a fire hazard it caught fire) and no replacement was available. Coffee maker was dirty. Restaurant was under repair and was not posted until I had to ask about their breakfast the next day and notified me about the situation. My parents were left to wait in the lobby and was not able to let in to the room even when their name was on the reservation because of not having the key card. Pictures on the website are misleading. Please pay attention to the address because we had to do 3 Uber rides trying to get to the correct Rosen inn. Don't rely on Google maps, call and ask the reception about your booking prior to checking in to save money and time trying to figure out which Rosen Inn

It was nice to have a bathtub, but the room was only cleaned every four days.
