Excellent if you are on a budget better than Rosin Inn which is brits tend to go the room worked out at £45 per night for a family of four plus you get free buffet breakfast food nice hot and cold food and hot and cold drinks fruit and yogurts scrambled eggs bacon everything is their no parking fee we didn’t pay a resort fee either staff lovlely twice my son put an egg in the microwave and it exploded they never complained room spotless free shuttles to both Disney and universal

Much better than 1st time. Hotel is under remodel.. They just finished their pool and it looks great.. They're working on the roof. The rooms still need some work. But they are coming a long way. Price is right. There is a deposit which is I believe $50. You do get it back and roughly about 7 to 10 days depending on your credit card. It is not pet friendly unless you have a service dog. Hotel is right before the Orlando health Doctor Phillips. Rooms come with a microwave and a Mini refrigerator. They do serve a breakfast that you must eat out front. You cannot take it back to your room. All their handicapped rooms or on the 1st floor.

Double trees always a nice hotel to stay at and the free cookies and check in or whenever you ask are always a delightful treat. For this day we found that there was really nothing around the hotel itself as far as other restaurant choices although it’s very close to universal and they have a shuttle bus which was convenient, we ended up moving to a location nearby that had many more restaurants around, the rooms were clean the pool areas. Nice the restaurants food was good although a little pricey if you would like to use the pool areas, I think this could be an excellent choice.

Great hotel, convenient location in walking distance to some airport car rentals. Very clean with style decor. Big flat screen in the room, all dove washing liquids (shampoo, body wash, conditioner, body lotion). Variety of food for free breakfast. Gas station just next to hotel, which makes it convenient to refuel your rental car before returning

I was a little nervous to stay here after recent reviews, I'm not sure if I was lucky with the room I got or if others look for more to complain about...but I could fault it. I have previously stayed at the Avanti Hotel but recent reviews there put me off staying. Yes the rooms are dated, most of these motel type hotels are, but the room was spotless which to me is the most important thing. We had taken some wipes to clean down surfaces etc just to be cautious but every wipe came up clean, top marks! Everything in the room worked as expected, fridge was good as was the microwave. Excellent location, we didn't use the pool but it looked good. Only slight issue was the Hurricane, the fire alarm went off twice as a false alarm...but these things happen. & there was some water leakage into the room from the door, which by our last day had caused a not very pleasant smell. But I'm not blaming the hotel for this & I assume they would have had a way to resolve this had we been staying longer & mentioned it! Our room was in block 3000, top floor facing the pool, no issues with noise - I doubt any room facing the pool would have an issue. Good view from the top floor too over to Volcano Bay. Happy to recommend the hotel for couples, families etc. I'd certainly be happy to stay here again for a future Orlando holiday!

I did a last minute booking for the Tru by Hilton Orlando Convention Center, as I had to change some of my holiday plans while Hurricane Ian passed through the area. I stayed at a few hotels this trip, and I honestly can't think of anywhere I would've felt safer or more secure while the bad weather passed by. Tru will definitely be one of the first hotels I consider for future trips. I arrived at the hotel very early, as I wanted to avoid going out in the afternoon once the weather worsened. They checked me in and let me go to the room straight away. The welcome I received was so warm and friendly, I immediately felt at home and knew I was in good hands. Lots of Americans were also in the hotel, many of them with their pets, so it really felt like a home from home and a place of safety during the storm. The rooms are quite compact, but they're so well designed you really don't feel there's a lack of space. The hotel and rooms are all very modern and comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. The bathroom has a great, large shower cubicle and the toiletries are all good quality. The bed was comfortable and I got a pretty good sleep, only woken up by the noise of the wind at the height of the storm. I thought the breakfast selection was good, and they provide coffee in the lobby area all day if you want it. For breakfast there was a nice selection of cereals, hot and cold items. Considering the hotel was full or nearly full, everything seemed to be flowing well and didn't feel too overcrowded. They turned off the lifts on the evening of the storm, handed out torches in case we lost power, and made several announcements of the emergency tannoy system. Everything about this hotel felt well thought out and extremely safe - I still can't get over how well they handled the situation.

I think it's a well-located hotel, what I don't like is that they don't make you the rooms comfort, good service and treatment of the pardon

I wish I had more nice things to say about our visit to Rosen Shingle Creek. Overall it was a nice stay, but little negatives piled up throughout, resulting in this average review. I brought my family along with me for a very large conference being held at the Orlando Convention Center, and the RSC was an official conference hotel, so many attendees were staying here. PROS . The staff! Overall, wonderful, friendly, engaging and responsive. Shout out to Heather and Mike at the Cat-Tails bar and poolside service. We had an Amazon Fresh order scheduled (there is a small fridge in the room) and the bell stand delivered it within 5 minutes of us requesting it. My mom and niece were also staying at the hotel, and the front desk attendant thoughtfully placed our rooms right next to each other. . Conference management. We had a great conference rate and the acknowledgment of our (significant) presence was thoughtful. Overall, the team was well prepared for several hundred attendees moving around the property. CONS . Rooms NOT that family friendly. I have a real issue with hotel bathroom designs that aren’t accessible for kids. I had to drag the ottoman into the bathroom area so my youngest could reach the sink. A huge leather ottoman in the bathroom is not ideal. . Substandard housekeeping. I asked for laundry bags from our service provider and was told they weren’t available. She pressured us out of our room one day saying she was trying to finish her shift early and upset my niece to the point of tears. Another morning, we had privacy lock and sign on and they were knocking at 8:30 to come in. It all felt very disconnected. . The Food. The biggest disappointment was that a resort this size, and a Universal Studios property, was such a let-down when it came to food. If you have any food allergy whatsoever, don’t stay here. The RSC makes little to no accommodation for food allergy or intolerance, which is very surprising in this day and age. My husband is celiac and other than FRENCH FRIES and VEGETABLES was extremely restricted in his food options. Only one restaurant was able to offer him gluten free bread for a burger. Food allergies are more and more common, it is unreasonable that RSC was lacking in its accommodations. In comparison to Disney properties where almost anything can be accommodated for food allergies, it was a glaring difference. Food options for children were also limited and unhealthy. After three days of eating cereal, French fries, and cardboard pizza, my kids were desperate for a freaking hot dog. None of the seven restaurants offered such a thing, but I was told they were available at the golf course snack stand. So I walk all the way out there to get three hot dogs and they were…sold out of hot dogs. Our Amazon Fresh delivery was a godsend, and there’s a Publix market at the end of the (very long) resort drive. . Universal partner means what?? Very good budget hotel in the lake Buena vista area. Room with 2 doubles beds, very comfy mattress and huge TV. Mini fridge and microwave also available very handy for drinks and snacks. Room was very clean and housekeeping came every day to make up the beds,clean and change towels. If you prefer a quieter rooms ask for one facing the parking lot and building 3 or 4. Shop,bar and breakfast buffet on site. This was my second stay here and I would return again.
