Shiye's House - Nihonbashi Station 1 min

Great location, just a 5-minute walk from the metro and 2 minutes from the market. The apartment has everything you need and offers plenty of space. We would definitely stay here again next time! The only downside is that the tatami mats are extremely firm, so you really need to enjoy sleeping on a very hard surface.

The location is fantastic! Kuromon Market is right downstairs, and transportation is super convenient. The guesthouse itself is clean and hygienic, plus there are tons of food options nearby.

I arrived at night, and since there was no one on the streets, finding the place wasn't too difficult. However, the hotel name at the entrance was written in Chinese characters, so you need to check your booking voucher to recognize it; otherwise, you might walk right past. Also, it was my first time staying at an unmanned hotel, and I only looked at the Trip.com booking voucher, but there was a separate email for entering information. I was traveling in a hurry with a fussy child and luggage late at night, so it was a bit of a hassle, but thankfully, another guest helped me get in. Don't forget to enter your information via email to receive the entrance and room passcodes! The shower had excellent water pressure with plenty of hot water, and both the bathroom and room were spacious – it was fantastic! The subway station is easily accessible, and there are many highly-rated restaurants nearby on Google Maps. I'd love to stay here again if I visit in the future!

Beyond expectations, truly, truly beyond expectations!! It's extremely close to Kuromon Market, practically right inside the market in a small alleyway. There's a pharmacy just 30 meters away, and Kuromon Market even has a 24-hour fresh food supermarket, so you can grab a late-night snack 😉. Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi are only about a 5-6 minute walk away. So, it's super lively just a short stroll away, yet the immediate area around the accommodation is wonderfully quiet at night. Absolutely perfect. The interior facilities are also very new, and the bathroom is exceptionally spacious. Having stayed at three different places in Japan, this one was by far the best! The room layout is also very open and spacious, like a large studio. I later stayed at another guesthouse with a really awkward, winding layout, and in comparison, this place was absolutely flawless!! Our room was on the ground floor, which meant no lugging suitcases up and down stairs – a lucky coincidence! The stairs to the second floor looked a bit narrow, but that's a common trait in Japanese buildings. The only minor drawback was that being on the ground floor, the window opened directly onto the street, making it difficult to open for ventilation. All in all, absolutely fantastic! I'll definitely book here again next time!

The location is fantastic, right next to Kuromon Market and literally a minute's walk from Nippombashi Station Exit 9. However, if you have luggage, I recommend using Exit 5 for the elevator and then walking over, as exits 8 and 9 are stairs and require an additional underground transfer. The accommodation itself is incredibly clean, and the bedding is very comfortable. Hot water flows well, though if you fill the bathtub once, it takes a while for it to replenish. On cold days, the heater makes the room quite dry. Other than that, I was very satisfied with this place! There's also a local public bath right next door for 600 yen. It's open until 1:30 AM, and while small, it's very clean.
