Staying in a guesthouse is a must when visiting Japan, otherwise hotel beds are small and expensive. After searching through all the apps, I found this guesthouse.
I was very satisfied with my stay. It's quite close to the subway station, a 5-minute walk. It's in a lively residential area, very close to a shopping street, and a convenience store is just around the corner.
There are highly-rated oden and curry rice restaurants nearby. The curry rice was quite delicious. There was also a ramen place with a long queue, but I tried it and the taste wasn't to my liking—too salty. It was lively at night, but not noisy. You can cook because there are so many good restaurants nearby. There's an induction cooker and all the tableware is provided, but we didn't cook this time; we ate out most of the time.
The place was very clean. The bathroom areas were well-separated, so multiple people could use them at the same time. There was no need for garbage sorting, which is really important for Chinese people!!
This building is full of guesthouses, but it didn't feel crowded at all. Most importantly, there's an elevator! God knows how painful it was for me to carry 40 pounds of luggage upstairs in my Airbnb in Tokyo.
I left a piece of clothing in my room, and the host even washed and sealed it for me so I could pick it up next time I come to Osaka. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Osaka!
