YUKI YAMA Hotel

Staying in a guesthouse is a must when visiting Japan, otherwise hotel beds are small and expensive. After searching through all the apps, I found this guesthouse. I was very satisfied with my stay. It's quite close to the subway station, a 5-minute walk. It's in a lively residential area, very close to a shopping street, and a convenience store is just around the corner. There are highly-rated oden and curry rice restaurants nearby. The curry rice was quite delicious. There was also a ramen place with a long queue, but I tried it and the taste wasn't to my liking—too salty. It was lively at night, but not noisy. You can cook because there are so many good restaurants nearby. There's an induction cooker and all the tableware is provided, but we didn't cook this time; we ate out most of the time. The place was very clean. The bathroom areas were well-separated, so multiple people could use them at the same time. There was no need for garbage sorting, which is really important for Chinese people!! This building is full of guesthouses, but it didn't feel crowded at all. Most importantly, there's an elevator! God knows how painful it was for me to carry 40 pounds of luggage upstairs in my Airbnb in Tokyo. I left a piece of clothing in my room, and the host even washed and sealed it for me so I could pick it up next time I come to Osaka. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Osaka!

A week before National Day, we made a last-minute decision to take our kids to USJ. We booked late, and many hotels were either fully booked or incredibly expensive. Since we were arriving early and returning late, we initially only considered hotels with luggage storage. I stumbled upon this newly opened guesthouse. I initially liked the fact that they offered temporary luggage storage after check-out, but I stumbled upon it! The room was exactly like the photos. It's huge, even for a Japanese room, so we could easily fit our suitcases! It was very clean, and they provided free drinks and mineral water. All the amenities were available. The location is within a 5-minute walk of both the subway and JR train stations, making everything very convenient. There are two 7-11 convenience stores downstairs, and Tenma Market is right next to us, meaning there are tons of affordable restaurants nearby, especially good and affordable yakiniku restaurants. For this reason alone, I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Osaka. Most importantly, the owner is Chinese and very friendly. He offered us a lot of help and advice. Thank you so much! I hope everyone can see this small but beautiful B&B. I also hope that I can book here again next time I come and ask the owner to arrange a rooftop barbecue. :)

They were really nice to me. The location was great, with a convenience store and a kids' plaza nearby. I'm glad we were able to bring our family here. Thank you very much.
