Very nice, room perfect size, bathroom clean and good, coffee and tea free

Nice hotel with basic amenities and place to sit/heat up food etc. Room was really smal, no space to leave luggage open. Everything was clean. Cleaning was pretty early in the morning so easy to get missed out if you want to sleep in.

The location is very convenient, very close to Umeda, and Shinsaibashi Tennoji is not far away. The tram is very convenient. It is very quiet, with windows, and the room is small but well-equipped. However, ordinary hotels in Japan are smaller than those in China. The uncles at the front desk are very nice, and a little English and body language can also communicate smoothly (there is an uncle who speaks good English). You need to bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush, otherwise you can buy disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste at the front desk for 50 yen

This is not a fake review, it's a very heartfelt review, much better than expected! I wanted to book a cheaper hotel from the beginning, so I chose this tatami style hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located, just a two-minute walk from the subway. It's located between Shinsaibashi and Umeda, and the subway is very convenient on both sides. There is a Chinese person at the front desk, who is a very friendly grandmother. She will recommend us the food around us and the hotel information. The hotel is equipped with a cafe for breakfast and coffee (the coffee is free of charge from the coffee machine, there is no breakfast, but you can bring your own coffee to the cafe, and there is a microwave). There is also a washing machine, which needs to be operated by yourself. We are three people sleeping in the room. There are mattresses, quilts, pillows, a small table, pajamas, and a small refrigerator in the room, but you need to make them yourself. The toilet is an automatic toilet, very clean, and the bathroom is a bathtub, so you can only stand in the bathtub to take a shower (the only drawback is that the shower head is a bit low, which may be the habit here in Japan, and it sprinkles down to the middle of the body, so you either lie down or squat. There are shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom, and it smells very good after using the shampoo. Before coming, I was worried that it would be too hard to sleep and uncomfortable, but after sleeping for five days, I didn't feel it at all

It's about 200 meters away from the subway station, which is quite convenient. It's in an alley. The hotel front desk provides coffee and you can pick up toiletries by yourself. The reception is OK and will answer any questions you have. The room is also quite clean. The tatami bed is a bit crowded for two people, but it's OK for one person.

As soon as I entered the room, I found an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the windowsill. After I complained to the front desk, they took it away silently without any apology or statement. The room needs to be cleaned every day, but there is dust on the small bedside, windows, TV, etc. It is not as clean as it was two years ago. Moreover, this is our second stay, and the hotel did not notice anything, which is not as good as some other hotels. Disappointed, the room rate is half more expensive.

This is my second time staying here. I stayed here for an exam. It was close to the venue and they could store my luggage for me, which was very helpful. I was glad they had all the amenities.

I heard that many small hotels in Japan cannot check in late without informing them in advance, so I specifically emailed the hotel in advance to inform them that I would arrive at midnight. After arriving, I rang the doorbell. The young man with glasses at the front desk was very patient and polite. There are many small restaurants downstairs of the hotel, and many office workers come to these restaurants for dinner. The room is very new and clean. It is small but has a bathtub. The tatami is also comfortable. I am very satisfied overall.

This is my first time traveling to Japan. I don’t understand Japanese at all and I can’t use overseas apps well. Fortunately, Ms. Wang and Ms. Lin, the staff of Meldia Hotel, are very enthusiastic and kind. When I couldn’t book a hotel, they patiently provided me with help. My trip to Japan felt warm. I stayed in a smoking room in July while traveling. Although it was a hotel, the style was that you took off your shoes and laid down on the futon, which was suitable for Japanese people. It was very clean and it was nice that the bathroom and toilet were separate. If I had to say one thing, it would have been nice to have a toothbrush and an air purifier.

The price/performance ratio is quite good. I chose a tatami specifically so that the bed is bigger. Otherwise, two people can only squeeze into a 1.5-meter bed in Japan. There are tables and chairs on the first floor. The store provides toothpaste and toothbrushes for free. Good reviews

Tatami, cleanliness is good. The guy at the front desk was very serious when I checked in, with a sullen face the whole time. There is hot water and coffee machine on the first floor, and there seem to be two washing machines, but no other facilities.
