Hotel Lodge Maishima

Because it is in Maishima, I was able to spend time slowly, and the local vegetables for breakfast were delicious. However, some of the facilities were conspicuously old and the Wi-Fi was weak and unusable. My pajamas had two buttons missing in half, so I refrained from using them because they were dangerous.

Advantages: The environment is good and the place is quiet. There are beautiful hydrangeas in the hotel. The service attitude at the front desk is sincere. Disadvantages: There is a slight lack of hygiene. There is only one road for transportation. The last bus only arrives at around 8:30 on weekdays. Because of this, I missed the last bus and went to a rental convenience store. There are only three hotels on the island, which would be a bit far if you don’t drive by yourself.

It was my first stay at nest. I didn't have a room on the sea side, so I couldn't see the sunset, but the sunrise was beautiful. I thought I should have brought my own seasonings for dinner at the barbecue corner, but it was a good memory.

It was nice to be able to drink alcohol for free.

The view is good and the room is spacious.

I stayed with my husband for 2 nights on a 1 night and 2 board plan as a base for sightseeing in Osaka. The price was reasonable, there was a large public bath, the rooms were spacious, and the hotel garden was vast, so I had a comfortable stay. Using a rental car, you can sightsee Osaka Castle on the first day and stay at a hotel (about 30 minutes by car from Osaka city).The next day, take a shuttle bus from the hotel (about 15 minutes to USJ) and sightsee at USJ. Had fun. For dinner, we had a choice of Western or Japanese food, so we chose Western food for the first night and Japanese food for the second night. Although we ate at the same restaurant, both Western and Japanese food were delicious! The sunset over Osaka Bay seen from the hotel corridor was also very beautiful. When I arrived at the hotel in a rental car, the hotel entrance was difficult to find and I had to walk back and forth around the hotel, so when using a rental car or private car, please check the hotel entrance carefully. I highly recommend it!

It kind of feels like a training camp. The room is fairly spacious, but the door is iron. The bed is also small and doesn't feel comfortable. It's not bad to take a walk along the beach, but I feel like the pond and other features felt a bit too artificial, and I wish they had made it look a little more natural. The public bath was not like an open-air bath with a view of the ocean, but just a large bath. The bonfire was good.
