The room was quite spacious, with a well-separated washroom, shower, and toilet area. The bed was comfortable. The FamilyMart downstairs was very convenient for breakfast, and while the mall below didn't have many shops, the dining options were decent, with good conveyor belt sushi and noodle places at reasonable prices. Both the subway and JR lines are very close, just make sure you don't get the stations mixed up. Good value for money, overall worth staying at.

Great view, excellent location, and a comfortable hotel. The room was a little small, but overall I had a pleasant stay.

Wrapped up my Japan trip with a stay here! I picked this hotel for the building itself and the amazing views you get while having breakfast. The room was pretty tight, but that’s pretty standard for Japan. Breakfast had a huge variety of choices, though it did get a little boring after a while since they serve the exact same menu every morning.

Great location, not far from the station. It's about a 20-minute train ride to Universal Studios and Shinsaibashi. The room was especially spacious, very comfortable for three people.

An absolutely terrible experience. I chose this hotel because I stayed here last year when I visited Osaka and trusted it, but this experience made me feel like my last stay was just a stroke of luck. 1. Due to aging floorboards or plumbing, the room would make loud noises every fifteen minutes. I confirmed it wasn't the refrigerator, the bathroom, or noise from outside the window. In the middle of the night, I couldn't stand it anymore and requested a room change. I was moved to an adjacent room that had the exact same problem. 2. The staff member offered to listen to the room's issue with me but only stayed for two or three minutes and rushed to show me the next room before even hearing the noise I described. The next room not only had the same noise problem but also a strong musty smell. From other reviews, it seems foreign guests are often assigned these less desirable rooms. 3. After both rooms proved unacceptable, they tried to move me to a lower floor (an area shared by hotel and apartment residents), which had an even stronger musty smell and triggered an allergic reaction, causing me to cough, so I refused. ❗Ultimately, I had to pay extra to get a normal room without noise or mold issues, which finally resolved the matter. 4. After not sleeping all night due to the noise and room changes, and having to pay to fix the problem myself, the staff member finally told me: 'You cannot change rooms again.' Am I deliberately trying to cause trouble? If your rooms weren't problematic one after another, why would I want to change rooms? Why would I, on vacation, spend a whole night without sleep just to deliberately cause trouble? This level of service is completely beneath the price point and very disappointing. 5. Furthermore, there were only two people on duty at night. The main 'supervisor' completely shirked responsibility, sending a very young intern to placate me. The young intern had a good attitude, but every one of his superficial actions was directed by the supervisor. I'm sure if I were Japanese, the supervisor would have come out to bow and apologize long ago. 6. The hotel's cleanliness was very subpar. For two consecutive days, I saw tiny bugs crawling on the bathroom counter. I didn't get a chance to take photos.

The Bentencho station is very convenient! There's an aerial walkway directly to the hotel, which is especially great on rainy days ☔️. The coin-operated laundry room has four or five washer-dryer units. The washing machines also have a drying function built-in. As shown in the picture, you can choose the cycle based on the weight of your clothes; usually, 500 yen is enough.

I booked the ART Hotel Osaka Bay a month in advance, and overall, I found it to be quite good value for money. We were given a room on the 41st floor this time. Being so high up, the view was largely unobstructed and fantastic, especially the city nightscape of Osaka, which was really beautiful. This is definitely one of the hotel's biggest highlights. However, I'm not sure if it's due to being on a higher floor, but when leaning against the headboard, I could feel a slight vibration in the room. I confirmed there were no earthquakes during these days. Transportation was also more convenient than I expected. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Universal Studios Japan (USJ), but we didn't use it because taking the JR train was already very convenient, getting us to USJ in about 20 minutes. Traveling to other parts of Osaka was also smooth, so if your main itinerary includes USJ and Osaka city center, the location here is actually quite good. Plus, if you're going to Kansai Airport, the JR train outside the hotel goes directly there without transfers, taking about an hour. Overall, the room's cleanliness seemed decent. The bedding, bathroom, and other commonly visible areas were quite clean. However, there's room for improvement in detailed cleaning. Some spots that are usually not easily noticed were clearly not thoroughly cleaned; for example, when I pulled open a drawer, I found a fair amount of dust inside. While these areas don't affect a normal stay, it's a bit of a letdown for a hotel of this caliber. The front desk staff were generally professional, efficient with check-ins and inquiries, but their service attitude was quite standardized and not particularly warm. What negatively impacted my experience the most during this stay was actually a very small thing – the complimentary bottled water. We stayed for 4 nights, and the hotel provides 2 bottles of free mineral water daily. Since we didn't request daily housekeeping, the 2 bottles for the second day were not replenished. When I called on the third day, we simply wanted to receive the 2 bottles for that day, plus the 2 bottles that weren't replenished from the previous day, totaling 4 bottles. The phone operator even took the time to specifically confirm whether we had indeed not received them before. They finally confirmed that they could replenish them, but when the staff member brought them to the room, they still only brought 2 bottles. Even more perplexing, the same thing happened again on the fourth day. Over the phone, it was clearly confirmed that 2 bottles were missing before, and they agreed to replenish them, but in the end, only 2 bottles were delivered again. Honestly, two bottles of mineral water aren't worth much, and we weren't at all concerned about the cost. What was truly uncomfortable was having to repeatedly explain and confirm for a few bottles of water for two consecutive days, only for the confirmed quantity not to be delivered in the end. The whole process made it feel as if the guests were lying or trying to take advantage of the hotel over two free bottles of water. For a hotel that serves international tourists, this kind of experience is really unnecessary. Overall, the hotel's facilities, views, transportation, and price are all good, especially the view from the high-floor rooms, which is a big plus. Booking in advance offers great value for money. However, there's room for improvement in cleaning details and service procedures. Often, what affects a guest's experience isn't the monetary value of two bottles of water, but rather whether the hotel shows basic trust and respect when handling a small matter.

The hotel is conveniently located, just four JR or subway stops from Osaka Station, and offers a great view from the window at night. However, the room's cleanliness was only so-so. Other guests mentioned a capsule coffee machine, but there wasn't one in my room.

Stayed 3 nights, room no 4409, as I'd like to go to the Onsen centre. That's why I stayed there, but the hotel is a bit outdated, obsolete and my room is not clean, which would not have happened in Japan decades ago, but everything has changed ... Just for Onsen, that's all...
