Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka

I booked a newly renovated room on the executive floor at the Sheraton this time, and it was excellent. The air conditioning finally works independently, allowing for individual control and adjustment. The air felt much fresher, unlike before when the AC always seemed insufficient. The location is superb; you can take the airport bus directly to the Uehommachi Kintetsu Bus Terminal, and on your way out, you can also easily get a direct bus to the airport. While the subway isn't on a main line, it's still quite convenient. Nearby is a somewhat old-fashioned Kintetsu Plaza, where you can find pretty much everything for shopping and dining. It's also quite close to Shinsaibashi and Namba.

Booked two rooms for a family trip and was given rooms on the lowest floor, at the very end of the hallway, furthest from the elevator. Dragging luggage across the carpet was quite an effort due to the resistance. The soundproofing in the rooms was very poor; there was a constant thudding noise, and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I took a photo of the wardrobe – it was quite a letdown and definitely needs renovating. The only bright spot was the friendly young man at check-out who spoke Chinese, which was a plus.

The room was clean, and the subway station, supermarket, and mall are right downstairs, making it super convenient for getting around.

This is my second stay here, mainly because the location is super convenient for transportation and shopping. It's right by Kintetsu Department Store, which is downstairs, and there are all sorts of delicious food options. Getting anywhere from here is a breeze. This time, I booked a room advertised as 24 square meters, but the actual experience was quite poor. It had an outdoor balcony, but the room itself was enclosed, so the balcony basically ate into the usable space, making the room feel very cramped. Plus, it wasn't cleaned properly; there was dust on the nightstand, which is really unacceptable for a five-star hotel. After discussing it with the front desk, they upgraded me to a 31-square-meter room. Their service attitude was still good. My advice for future bookings is to pay close attention to the room type. Also, they really need to improve their housekeeping.

Booked this for my son and his classmates for their graduation trip. Didn't include breakfast. The kids bought rice balls and bento boxes every day, and the staff at the front desk were very nice and helped them microwave their food in the mornings. Very nice!

Very satisfied, great value for money, excellent and convenient location with direct airport bus service. I'll definitely be back.

Eight years later, I booked this hotel again, and it's still as good as ever. It really pays to choose an established hotel brand; the quality is guaranteed, and my family felt very comfortable. Next time I'm in Osaka, I'll definitely choose to stay here again!
