W Osaka

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi
Although I was not staying at the W, the MIXup cafe is a fun spot in the middle of Osaka to have a tea or coffee and their amazing dessert(s). I was looking to try their seasonal dessert, the strawberry mille feuille, although it was already sold out when I arrived. This gives me another reason to return soon! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, I was swiftly shown to my table that I reserved ahead of time (thanks, Marriott Bonvoy), and was walked through the menu and how their orders work. Many teas to choose from, and the cake I chose was plated so beautifully. The chantilly cream with the berries - out of this world! The entire experience was smooth, and I was delighted with the level of service provided. In a way, this is ”normal” and expected for Japan, but I want to highlight that I really enjoyed this visit and look forward to going back.

We stayed a total of five nights in this hotel and this allowed us to experience an incredible stay in osaka and its surroundings. The hotel is very well located, close to means of transport for nearby tourist sites and barely fifteen minutes from the lively districts of Osaka. The room is clean and very comfortable. the hotel provides laundry equipment which literally saved us for our trip. Regarding the employees, they were very pleasant and helpful. Mathilde enchanted our days from breakfast with her smile and good humor. And a big thank you to Mr. Palacoeur, General Manager, for taking the time to help us and guide us through the different places to do and how to get there. The breakfast was pleasant and sufficient with a Japanese offer which we particularly liked, the grab and go system provided is also very useful for the morning rush day. Thank you all for this stay, hoping to come back soon! Thank you Mr. Jerome Palacoeur for the time you gave us, you enchanted our stay with your friendliness, your professionalism and your humor !
TAKUTO HOTEL OSAKA SHINSAIBASHI

Location is good, near to the subway station, with walking distance of 10+ mins. The family room is not so big after we opened all luggage. The shower room has full facilities and able to dry the washed clothes. Counter service is not so effective and bias, using a translator kit to entertain a Korean family sentence by sentence, but leave us to read by ourselves. There is also a 1000 yen charges to help keeping the luggage after check-out. Overall, the hotel is good for a family stay at Osaka.

The hotel is very good. The location is also close to Honmachi Station. Although the room is not big, the facilities are new and complete. There is also a person who can speak Chinese at the hotel front desk. The overall experience is good, but it is a little far to walk to Shinsaibashi. , but it’s okay to take two trips with children. It’s relatively clean here. Highly recommended. Good value for money!

I stayed in March 2020, but it was time when the world suddenly canceled my overseas trip at the airport counter because I was already afraid that I would not be able to return home due to the corona disaster. At this time, I stayed at the Chiba Chuo store of the hotel and had a clean environment, but when I used this Osaka Shinsaibashi store a week later, the cleaning condition was inappropriate even in the normal period, but the new coronavirus was positively spreading. state It was unsanitary cleaning in the situation. I was surprised at the cleaning of the local front desk and guest rooms like an inn that is done by 1 people ~2 people. I applied to the front desk and asked him to change the room, but it's too poor for a Daiwa Roynet Hotel less than 1 years from the opening.
