A slightly longer but flat ground 7min walk from Hommachi station (11 minutes if using elevator below St Regis hotel). Off Shinsaibashi shopping street where there are many shops in walking distance. Parallel to Midosuji shopping street. It is in the middle between Shinsaibashi station and Hommachi station. Convenient location to base myself to take Hankyu train to Kyoto or metro to Yumeshima where Osaka World Expo was. Awkward positioning of lockers in public bath. Locker doors clash with the people using the hairdryers. Only 3 slots for public bath and 2 for hair dryer, leading to congestion. Breakfast tasted normal. Green tea from machine wasn’t that nice. Dated interior design. Feels a bit cheapo too. Nonetheless, the fundamentals like cleanliness, laundry, bag storage and location were met.

The property was nice, clean & has all basic amenities. The breakfast spread was good, but the kitchen chef was very strict on closing timing. Didnot allow to take even a coffee a minute later than closing time. The front desk was helpful & kind. I have been a customer of Kuretake properties in Japan at various places since 2018 & the experience was always good. This time the experience was little moderate.
