I rarely encounter duds when booking on Trip, but this time I did. I highly do not recommend this accommodation. All the facilities in the room are run-down. Every dining chair was wobbly and felt like it could break at any moment. The cutlery wasn't clean at all. The bathroom was pitifully small and lacked both body wash and shampoo. Taking a shower in the cold winter was a huge challenge; the water temperature wasn't high, and the bathroom was freezing. The street outside the accommodation was, to put it mildly, very dangerous at night. I strongly advise against staying here. We originally booked for three nights, but after just one night, we cut our losses and immediately booked another hotel. This accommodation is completely unsuitable for family trips or female travelers.

The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the central station, making transportation incredibly convenient. You can pretty much explore the entire city center on foot within two hours. The Munch Museum was truly impressive, and it's right next to the pier.

Everything was great, location, service, nothing to complain

The kitchen facilities in the room were a bit tricky to use, but the clean lady who tidied our room was very helpful. The room isn't huge, but it has everything you need, including a balcony. The bathroom is a tad on the small side. My only minor concern was the area outside the hotel, which seemed to have a lot of immigrants, making me feel a tiny bit uneasy about safety.

location strategic near train station. there's market downstairs. a lot of halal food also nearby. facilities as laundry also provided. will repeat to stay here again

There's an Asian supermarket downstairs, and I usually go out at night, but there were some suspicious characters hanging around downstairs, which made me a bit nervous. The room floor had grease stains and wasn't very clean. Plus, they don't even provide shower gel; you have to buy it yourself. This is the first time I've stayed at a hotel that doesn't provide shower gel. #Pros

Good location and good room for a few nights stay with a small kitchen, self check in was easy and luggage room was handy for after we checked out. However the curtains didn’t fit over the window so we got woken up by the light every morning and the shower curtain was too short so the whole bathroom got wet whenever we used the shower.

Even with my broken English, the male staff member at reception was incredibly kind and explained everything clearly. The room was clean and spacious, the TV was big, and I had a very comfortable stay.

The location is convenient, with an Asian supermarket downstairs, which is great for anyone with an Asian palate looking to buy groceries. The sink drainage was a bit slow, and the kettle showed some signs of use, but everything else was pretty good. Overall, it offers good value for money.

The location is super convenient, 2 min and 10 min walk from metro and Oslo Sentral Station respectively. But the district is full of immigrants especially from the Middle East. Worthy to mention that the area around is quiet old and dirty. The room is well equipped with kitchen facilities that we can cook the meal in the evening. The lobby has a receptionist handling requests.

Easily walkable to the major attractions including the sauna. Also 30mins via train from Airport. The blinds were not working in our room. The air flow buttons also did not seem to make a difference. Buttons could do with better labelling. Toilet is relatively small with no space for toiletries in the shower area.

Forenom Aparthotel Oslo is a great choice for Muslim travellers. The location is strategic — close to Oslo Central Station, halal restaurants, and even a mosque within walking distance. Rooms are clean and practical, with kitchen facilities for preparing your own meals. A comfortable and convenient base in the city.

Overall experience is good but it can be better if it arrange reception desk.
