Forenom Serviced Apartments Oslo Royal Park

The flat was average. However we booked two separate twin beds and got there to find only one bed together (that were unable to be split apart) and when asked about this - received no response from ******* nor the rental agency itself. There was a pullout sofa, but no bedding available to use it. Advertised TV but only watchable if you had specific app subscription and even then, we weren’t able to use it. Again, no response from ******* nor the property owner. No dish towel to dry dishes. Also beware that map app may take you to wrong Forenom (property owner) location - there are many in this neighborhood.

Would not recommend. 1. Key-lock code delayed for 3 hours; had to call them again and again. 2. Rooms below the average ; hostel quality. 3. No black-out curtains, too much light in the appartment from 2:00 am !!! Only "darkness" time 0:00-2:00 4. Can accommodate barely 2 persons; by no means 4, this is a joke !!! 5. Unacceptable bathroom. 6. No lift at he building, carried a heavy lagguage 3 floors up

No electricity in the appartment and no wifi at all when we arrived, and since there is no human ever there at the apartments, it was very difficult to get through to someone. When we did they told us to check the electical fuses ourselves because ther eis no one on site Also, no elevator, walk up all the stairs withall your luggage. Or better still, avoid this place completely.

For a first time in Oslo, this was a great place. Just a short walk from Nationaltheatret station, which passes in front of the Royal Palace, so you see your first sight in Norway from the off. There were three doors to the apartment building: first one was for the 300 series apartments, second for the 200 series and the third for the 100 series, which contained mine. A passcode was easier to keep track of and harder to lose than a physical key. The apartment was just big enough for the two of us, with plenty of storage and a kitchen with an oven, which we used to bake a frozen pizza that we got at a mini mart a few blocks away. The baking pan already had parchment paper on it. That was a nice touch. We cleaned up the place as best we could on the way out: squeegeed the bathroom floor, swept the bedroom/living room space and took our trash and recyclables to the bins out back. We even replaced the parchment paper on the baking pan in the oven. That's how encouraged we were after our stay here. Tourist sights and the main shopping/dining avenue are just a few minutes walk and there's a tram stop just around the corner from the apartment building for points beyond. This is definitely the place to stay in when visiting Oslo.

Clean apartment with comfy beds, close to local transport and shops and in nice location. The bathroom could be better - shower curtain not very effective and water collects on the floor.

An apartment with little character and slightly faded fittings and furniture from IKEA. On the 4th floor and without a lift. Did not feel I wanted to use the kitchen after reading the notice which said there would be a fine of NOK3,000 if the fire alarm was set off. Not a teabag or any other comfort to welcome me to the place. 2 narrow single beds in a small separate room. Would only return if nothing better to be found.
