I had a reservation and paid for a night in this hotel. For medical reason justified, I couldn’t be on the right night. I asked with kindness 48 hours before the date to change for another reservation the week after. They never accept it or try to find a solution. I lose 100€ without any service. Forget this hotel

Located in the heart of Oostende, this hotel is a has quite a bit of charm of the old days (art-deco dining room and many original details in the public spaces). Interiors of the rooms are a little bit more modern, albeit the age starts showing. The room was, however, clean and tidy. The owner/manager was very nice and offered an option to check in later than originally planned. She also offered guidance around the town, and was overall super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was tasty and set us up for the day rather well, Disliked · I would consider starting renovations as soon as possible, as the rooms are ageing and this translates into some things being broken or on the verge of being broken. WIFI didn't quite work.

We stayed here when our car broke down and the lady who I think is the owner went above and beyond to help us in anyway possible . Really is such a lovely woman . The hotel is perfect location with nice spacious room and bathroom . Bed very comfy, all on all a perfect place to stay. Me and my girlfriend rate this hotels hospitality the best we have ever stayed in

Gezellig hotel, op een goede ligging tussen commercieel gedeelte van de stad en de zeedijk. Net en verzorgde gemeenschappelijke ruimtes en individuele kamers. Een klein dispuut, betreffende het al dan niet geboekte ontbijt. Bij vertoon van een kopie van de boeking, werd dat onmiddellijk verholpen. Rustige kamers met een nette badkamer. Verzorgd en uitgebreid ontbijt. Prijs kwaliteit correct. Vriendelijke bediening aan de receptie en in de ontbijtruimte.

Personnel très serviable, bien situé près de la gare, commerces et plage. Très bon petit déjeuner. Chambre demande un rafraîchissement et très mal insonorisée. Par contre les communs très beaux et modernes. Peut être un peu cher pour ce que c'est. 287€ pour 2 avec petit déjeuner pour 1 nuit.

We zaten in kamer nr 1 aan de voorkant. Standaard kamer met alles voorhanden wat je nodig hebt. Groot bed met goeie matras. Prachtige ontbijtzaal met heerlijk ontbijtbuffet. Hotel misschien iets gehorig maar dat zijn de charmes van een oud statig gebouw. Uitstekende ligging in centrum van stad. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Een aanrader en de 3 sterren zeker

Heel aangenaam verblijf SUPERVRIENDELIJKE mensen! Echt een aanrader! We logeerden in het weekend van 11 november 2023. Het hotel was volledig volgeboekt maar toch was alles qua bediening heel persoonlijk.

Location was great. Neat and clean hotel. Very friendly staff. Too bad the rooms are in such bad shape, furniture very old, curtains dirty and worn, and you can hear the other guests talking and stepping through the walls. Breakfast nuffet was small but everything you need, very tasty.

Les chambres économiques (80€ tout de même) sont au 4e étage. L'ascenseur s'arrête au 3e. L'entretien des chambres est moyen (les rebords sont poussiéreux, les murs témoignent du passage des clients). Les finitions (notamment de peinture) sont à revoir. La climatisation est un ventillo. Le lit tient avec des cales. La moquette cache un sol en mauvais état. Bref, on s'attend à beaucoup mieux quand on réserve. L'insonorisation est assez bonne.

Sometimes I go for an expensive and sometimes a cheap hotel in Ostend. Just for the experience. This is the best value for money. Reception/breakfast/room/choice/places 10 out of 10. It is a pity that the singles rooms, as everywhere, are slightly less attractive. Definitely come back
