Such a beautiful Palazzo From the hand painted ceilings and original tiled floors to the fantastic chandeliers and lovely light fittings in every room. Our room was spacious with 2 period style queen size beds and we had our own private access. Breakfast each morning were amazing with an assortment of cereals, fresh fruits cakes, meats, cheeses, pizza slices and more all beautifully laid out on magnificent inlaid tables with white lace tablecloths. The dining tables for breakfast were laid beautifully with China crockery and cutlery in keeping with the theme of the home, which was a family home that Matteo renovated. We cant speak highly enough of Matteo as our host. He is the perfect gentleman. Whether he was helping with luggage, advising about restaurants, arranging private tours or drivers to pick us up from the airport etc, nothing was too much trouble. Matteo treated us as very special guests. We really enjoyed our long chats and we are so happy we were able to spend time with him at his beautiful Palazzo If only we could keep this as a secret for ourselves. You might think its not possible or its fake.... believe me Matteo is just the PERFECT host with great taste and a crazy attention to details. The palazzo is an awesome experience to live like a king in Italy. I just got to know Matteo... this os a genuine review!

A superb bed and breakfast, a beautiful house in a great location. Matteo was an excellent host, meeting us, helping with luggage and parking the car. Breakfast was incredible, such a choice of fresh produce and beautifully presented. The property is stunning, spotlessly clean and furnished very tastefully. Thank you Matteo.

This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Southern Italy. The hotel is set in a wonderful old building that has been lovingly restored, and it is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was a feast--everything we ate was terrific, and there were plenty of things to choose from. But what made the stay truly special was the quality of the host, Matteo. In addition to providing excellent service, and very helpful maps and information, his hospitality was off the charts. He made us feel at home. If you are going to Ostuni and want a place close to the historic center, we highly recommend staying at the Palazzo Stunis.

I just got back from an amazing trip where I stayed 5 nights at Palazzo Stunis. What a charming and special place. Ostuni is a nice town and a great jumping off place to explore other places in Puglia. Thanks to Matteo for being the perfect host.

This was a wonderful and spacious property in a lovely part of Ostuni with great secure parking access. Matteo (host) provided a fabulous service from accommodating our very late arrival due a delayed flight, great restaurant and trip recommendations to a great breakfast whereby he went out of his way to meet any additional requests. Fully recommend this lovely property if you are heading to Ostuni!

Staying at Palazzo Stunis and being looked after by Matteo (host) was the highlight of our southern Italy holiday. From the moment you entered the front door of Matteo’s home you were made to feel special. Matteo took a genuine interest in you & what you wanted from your trip. He provided us with local maps, a list of recommended restaurants (which were amazing!) and a book on Ostuni in case there were further areas we wished to research & explore. Matteo’s family home which he has lovingly restored is 6 star (or more if that’s possible). He has thought of every luxury touch possible for you to experience during your stay from your beautiful accommodation, roof top sundeck & a breakfast fit for a king and queen. Thank you Matteo for creating such a memorable experience & we hope we’re fortunate enough for our paths to cross again. HIGHLY recommend this luxury B&B.

An excellent place to stay, Matteo really looks after you and ensures everything is perfect. The attention to detail at the property is outstanding and would recommend to everyone. It is very close to the centre of Ostuni. A really enjoyable stay.

We found that everything good said about the owner/host, Matteo, is correct. He's friendly, welcoming, and makes himself available for any questions or help. Parking in Ostuni is a challenge, but Matteo literally parked and retrieved our rental car for us multiple times, even telling us to call him 10 min. before returning to the B&B so he could be there to park it for us! Our room was large and had its own access to the street. The only downside with it was some traffic noise, but that eventually stopped. The breakfast buffet had many tasty options. We wouldn't hesitate to book Palazzo Stunis - Dimora di Charme again.

Welcomed to Matteo's fully restored family home. He really makes you feel like family. Rooms had themes with paintings on the ceiling and fixtures that were stunning. Sheets had hand embroidery. Brand new bathrooms. Beds were so comfortable. Location was up the hill from center of town so expect to walk.

Utter Perfection! We spent two nights in the Rose Room and it was sublime. Matteo is a most gracious host and his lovingly restored palazzo is incredibly special. It was the absolute highlight of our trip to Puglia.

One of the most relaxing, generous, beautiful places I’ve stayed, with gorgeous attention to detail - coffee cups, bed sheets, bathrobes, luxurious breakfast, caring for our children (with juices and heartbreakingly great special plates and cutlery). And such a beautiful, calm welcome and departure. We were blown away. I can’t wait to go back.

This is a gem of a place. The beautiful floors, furniture, crockery and decor make the house so special. Matteo is a wonderful, kind host. He advised us on trips and restaurants, which were all great. Breakfast was an amazing choice of savoury and sweet tastes. There is parking nearby which is also a bonus. Clean bed linen everyday day was also rather special.
