Kotoyu

It is a hotel located on the top of Shiga Prefecture and onsen. The building itself is old, but the room is renovated and new. The super public bath Agaryanse is available here. It is convenient because there are convenience stores and ramen shops in front of the hotel. Mineral water was also available for people. The room on the Lake Biwa side is large and the scenery is good. Depending on the plan, you can use the next day's ayakanse for free. I think it is a style that you can enjoy the ayakanse slowly and stay.

Lake Biwa has been here before, so it is not on the lakeside, but I used this inn with a good evaluation of Cospa. There is no elevator in the building and the stairs are a bit steep. Clean Japanese modern room, Wi-Fi can be used in the room. I was happy to have a sofa chair. The bath is only an inner bath, so I also used the bath at the Yugenkan next door (600 yen for use). You will go to Yuyuankan and walk through the corridor on the lobby floor. The bath in Yuyuankan was large and very splendid and there were several types. There is a guide in the building so it is easy to understand. The garden open-air bath is a beautiful and elegant bath with waterfalls and moss. Also, from the open-air bath on the 11th floor, you can see the wonderful view of Lake Biwa overlooking 180 degrees. It was good that there was a washroom and a washroom area with a dryer in the open-air bath. The inner bath and open-air bath on the 8th floor were also large and good. I didn't enter, but there is a bath in one place later. If it is not a rainy day, I recommend using a bath in the sister house even if you pay 600 yen. Very clean bath area is also equipped with amenities, so I am especially happy for women. Well, it was dinner, but every item was delicious. The curry round fried and the scallops were especially delicious. It seemed a little unfortunate that there was no sashimi, but it was too much quantity and quality in any case. However, although it was a reasonable inn, alcohol was high in a luxury inn, and it was a little for us. The bottle of sake and shochu was from 3900 yen. If you offered 300cc of local sake at least 1000 yen, I think I tried various things (after all, I made it a shochu bottle that was not local sake). Breakfast was also a delicious Japanese food, rice, juice, etc. were Viking forms. No coffee (there was a paid coffee machine in the lobby). It is an inn with a reasonable price setting by omitting the service, but especially from the front desk male staff, I felt high hospitality. I was happy to be polite and kind.

Environment: Every room has a lake view, and the fried chicken is great! On a sunny day, the scenery is so beautiful, you can go for a walk in the garden and by the lake; during the day, there are kindergarten children playing games on the lawn by the lake; Facilities: The room is wood-colored and visually comfortable; the bed faces the lake, and it is very comfortable to get up and lie down every day to see the lake view; the hotel is equipped with a hot spring, and the hot spring also faces the lake. It is recommended to go to the outdoor hot spring at night for a more comfortable soak. . (The hotel does not provide combs and toothbrushes) Service: The service is very good. The front desk staff are very experienced and have a good attitude in helping us call taxis and carry luggage. What is impressive is that our suitcases are very heavy, but when we checked in, the waiters helped us The luggage is put in the room, which increases the favorability value; the hotel has a shuttle bus to Otsu Station, which runs every 20 minutes. It is at the same bus stop as the Prince Hotel, so don’t be confused (the bus at Lake Biwa is a minibus; the bus at Prince is a bus) car) Overall, the price/performance ratio is very high. Ctrip’s price is too beautiful to stay at Lake Bipa Hotel at 600 yuan. Great! Lake Biwa Hotel is not as new as Prince Hotel, but the service staff of the old hotel are very experienced and well-educated, and Lake Biwa Hotel has hot springs. If water sports are arranged, I think it is good to soak in the hot springs to ward off the cold; when we stayed there Most of the people in the surrounding area are Japanese; there are a lot of delicious food nearby, and they are all within walking distance. If you are not dining at the hotel, it is good to open google map and explore Otsu with your taste buds; it is very close to the Michigan, and you can arrange a ride Boat trip on the lake~

The front desk is very kind and makes me feel very relaxed. Restaurants are clustered around the station, but is the walking distance appropriate? The fork of the tram that you can see from under the window stimulates your trip.
Lake Biwa Otsu Prince Hotel

The Prince Hotel was the most satisfying hotel in our trip to Kyoto. The hotel is located beside Lake Bipa with first-class scenery and comfortable environment. In particular, the hotel's dedicated bus pick-up service and the luggage delivery service at the Kyoto Station counter bring great convenience to guests, allowing us to arrange our itinerary as we wish. The hotel's breakfast is also very good. When you enjoy breakfast in the restaurant on the 37th and 38th floors, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Biwa through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows! The only dissatisfaction is that check-in is required at 5 pm. If we arrive after 3 o'clock, if we want to check in in time, we will have to pay an additional 2,000 yen; it seems too inhumane.

Stayed the night before to participate in the morning service at Konponchudo. Although it is a temple lodging, it is comfortable with a large communal bath in a hotel-like facility. From the restaurant, you can overlook Lake Biwa and the view is outstanding. The food is vegetarian cuisine, which is good for the body and tastes good, so it is recommended. The rooms are on the Lake Biwa side and the mountain side, and the mountain side is a highlight with dense old trees and autumn leaves. It takes about 5 minutes to Konponchudo. A free shuttle bus is available from Otsukyo Station on the JR Kosei Line. Reservations are required in advance.
