Very close to station, just that station has nothing much to offer. But good value for money anyway.

The room facilities were a bit old, but the hygiene was still very clean and tidy. We got a free room upgrade from a double to a triple. The hotel is close to the station, which makes getting around very convenient. Overall, it was pretty good.

well, i mistakenly choose the smoking room which made me feel very uncomfortable whole night. It's my fault, I don't blame, but the ventilation is sooooo bad that I could always smell the smoking from my next-door neighbor. Others were ok. If you don't mind it's a bit old and you would just stay for a night, this is a good choice.

If you are going to visit Lake Biwa or Hikone Castle, staying at Reiah Hotel Otsu Ishiyama is very convenient for transportation and the price is much more affordable than hotels in Kyoto. The hotel breakfast is good and freshly ground coffee is available all day.
