Premier Inn Glasgow (Paisley)

Went to the airport Premier in by accident where they were very helpful and friendly. Our Premier Inn was not as good. Building a bit tired. Staff so so.

Stayed one night before an early flight. Booked a premier plus room £51. Room was like newly refurbished. Super clean, great big shower, mini fridge, coffee pod machine and aircon. Was very quiet as block we stayed nobody above you. Walked to the Marmalade Pot 5 mins away for dinner. Highly recommend great portions and extensive menu. Would definitely stay at this Premier Inn again but book the Premier plus room.

Well located for business needs, rooms were comfortable and well provisioned. Restaurant was busy each morning and evening, but teams were very attentive and considerate, food was well portioned and presented and tasted good!

Phenomenal service from Alan. Very welcoming as a host, and helpful with recommendations. It was busy service but felt like we were walking into our local pub. Friendly, good food and good wine!

We stayed one night in a family room for an early flight. We were allocated room 101. The room was boiling but the noise coming from outside meant we had to shut the window. The main issue with our stay was that we had a 4am start and we were unable to get to sleep until 3am! The doors banging on reception and on our floor made the room shake. The constant doors that opened and closed, usually three at a time - bang bang bang! It was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. The bathroom was also really grubby & the soap dispenser was so old it was rusty. Suggest they send senior management to sleep in this room on a busy night & ask them if they would stay with their families. Completely unacceptable & made me really nervous about booking premier inns again. We use them a lot but will be looking for an alternative for any future trips

Location east for Glasgow airport access however is not good value for money. Got last room (“accessible”) for £151. Room smelled of damp, ground floor window was open on arrival late on a cold wet August night, and extremely noisy due to paper thin & squeaky floors with noisy family staying in room above playing loud music and dancing around til 3.30am (apparently deliberately keeping several kids awake for an early flight that AM!!) Complained to reception at the time mid of night and the family eventually left at 4am but didn’t sleep much and despite initial support from reception staff, no formal apology or recognition from Premier Inn. Breakfast was good however and various options in self service buffet. However no kettle or tea /coffee option in room and empty hot mini bar’s a waste of space. Do not stay here unless it’s a last resort, as it was in my case. Reception staff were really nice and do their best to be courteous and helpful but Premier Inn as a company needs to step up their standard bedroom offerings and sleep guarantee in this location and not let it be used as a crèche for Glasgow airport package holiday families.

I checked into the hotel on Thursday the 30th of July. I parked my car correctly and then went into the hotel. I had already payed in advance and it cost £174 pounds for one night, this seems expensive for the room. I mention to the staff that i had parked up and at no time was registering my car mentioned. We went to our room and my impression was it was grubby, old and well used. It looked like it had not been hovered in weeks. we left at 5 o'clock the next morning. 3 weeks later i got a parking charge of £57 pounds for not registering my car.It does not say anything on the premier inn website about registering your car. I would say do not use this hotel as it is just not worth the price. They intentionally do not mention that you have to register your car on arrival. Be careful. Find a better place.
