Our stay was disappointing, not because of the facilities themselves, but because of the overall lack of attention to maintenance, cleanliness, and guest service.
The property does not appear outdated, and many of the room furnishings still have potential to provide a comfortable stay. However, several items seemed to require maintenance and repair, which gave the impression that upkeep was not a priority.
Cleanliness was our biggest concern. The standard of housekeeping fell below our expectations, and during our stay several members of our family experienced skin irritation and discomfort. While we cannot determine the exact cause, it left us concerned about the overall cleanliness of the environment.
Breakfast service was also disappointing. Food and beverages were not consistently replenished, and on one occasion the coffee ran out for an extended period. What stood out most was not the issue itself, but the apparent lack of urgency in addressing it despite staff being aware of the situation.
The most disappointing aspect of our stay was the service attitude. Several staff members appeared disengaged and uninterested in interacting with guests. In particular, when I approached the front desk with a reasonable request, I felt that my questions were met with irritation rather than a willingness to help. Whether intentional or not, the interaction left me feeling unwelcome and hesitant to ask for assistance again.
Hospitality is ultimately about making guests feel comfortable and valued. Facilities can always be repaired and upgraded, but service culture is what guests remember most. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as the hotel has potential but is currently falling short in several important areas.
