I was impressed with the atmosphere, the beautiful view, and the good weather. The breakfast overall was good with a good variety. It would be great if the shower area in the room could be renovated and updated. Overall, it was good.

The atmosphere is amazing! This is a complete stay with everything you need. The place is peaceful, cozy, and dust-free, which I loved the most. I'll definitely come back again.

DusitD2 is a perfect place for rest and relaxation. There are many activities to do, such as a mini zoo, rock climbing, archery, football, swimming, spa massages, cycling around the hotel, and swinging. You'll hardly want to leave! The sweet rooms here are large and there are many types of rooms to choose from. They are clean and comfortable, with a bathtub for relaxing and enjoying the view outside. The bathroom has separate zones. The food is also delicious and there's a wide variety. The staff provides excellent service, and there are golf carts for pick-up and drop-off. The weather is great, with a gentle breeze, so outdoor activities aren't hot at all.

The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was a buffet, and there were even alpacas!

I am writing to share my disappointment regarding my stay at Dusit Thani Khao Yai on 14–15 August 2026. I made my reservation through Trip.com for a Deluxe King Room. First of all, I would like to sincerely compliment some of your staff. The team member who assisted with my luggage and escorted me to my room provided excellent service. I was genuinely impressed by his attentiveness and service attitude, and I was happy to give him a personal tip because I felt that his service truly deserved recognition. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the resort. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, and seeing the small cats around the property actually made the atmosphere feel even warmer and more charming. I understand and appreciate that the property is pet-friendly. However, unfortunately, the condition of my room significantly affected my overall experience. The room had a very strong and unpleasant smell, which appeared to be a combination of dog and cat urine. The smell was particularly noticeable and made me feel uncomfortable and even somewhat dizzy. Even the bathrobe provided in the room had a strong musty smell resembling animal urine, to the point that I could not wear it. What disappointed me most was that this issue was only addressed after I contacted the Front Office to report it. The solution provided was to bring an air purifier into the room. I appreciate that the staff responded to my complaint, but I do not believe that this issue should have reached the guest in the first place. Before a room is handed over to a guest, especially at a resort under the Dusit Thani brand, I would expect the housekeeping and room inspection process to ensure that there are no obvious unpleasant odors. Guests should not have to check in, discover a strong smell, and then contact the Front Office to have the room condition corrected. There was also another issue upon arrival. I checked in at approximately 3:00 PM, which was the official check-in time, yet there were still piles of linen/items in the corridor outside the room while housekeeping staff were cleaning. I understand that hotel operations can be busy, but I believe the guest experience should be taken into consideration, particularly at the official check-in time. I have stayed at other hotels and resorts in the Khao Yai area, including properties from other well-known hotel groups, and unfortunately this was one of the less satisfying experiences I have had. For a property of Dusit Thani’s standard, I expected greater attention to detail, particularly with small things that can make a significant difference to a guest’s stay. I completely understand the concept of being pet-friendly. However, being pet-friendly should not mean that guests who do not travel with pets have to tolerate strong smells of dog or cat urine. For guests who are sensitive to these smells or simply do not enjoy them, this can seriously affect their comfort and ability to relax. I am not writing this complaint to demand compensation or anything in return. I simply wanted to provide honest feedback because I believe the property has many excellent qualities — the location, atmosphere, facilities, and some of the staff are genuinely wonderful. It is therefore disappointing that something as preventable as room odor and housekeeping quality could negatively affect the entire stay. I sincerely hope that the management team and the relevant departments within the Dusit Thani group will review this matter, particularly the housekeeping inspection process, room odor control, and the readiness of rooms before check-in. I hope my feedback will be taken constructively and used to improve the guest experience in the future.

Great atmosphere, good location with lots of activities. The pool is beautiful, but the pool floor might be showing its age. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant has a stunning million-dollar view. The food tasted great, and the staff at all outlets provided excellent service.

The room was not clean. There were a lot of tiny bugs (similar to fruit flies) in the bathroom—far too many to be acceptable. The bathroom also has an open-wall design that is directly connected to the bedroom, making the bug problem even more unpleasant. The accommodation is beautiful and the room is very clean. The staff are lovely and attentive.

Peaceful and comfortable. I love staying here because of the pool view. The staff are lovely and take great care of guests. There are cute alpacas and the beds are super soft!

The hotel is located at the very end of a small alley. It might took a while to reach the destination from the main road. However, the staff were very helpful, friendly, and very professional. The hotel atmosphere was very suitable for friends and family.

Highly recommended accommodation! The room is beautiful and it's perfect for a relaxing stay because the hotel grounds are peaceful.
