Even though the room had a traditional feel, which means the hotel has been around for a while, it's probably time to renovate the pool area, especially the wooden deck, because it feels old and a bit uncomfortable to walk on. However, the water system, electricity, and air conditioning were excellent. The staff provided great service, but there was one minor issue: the food order was very slow, and they didn't call back to update me. I waited for about an hour before having to call and ask. Other than that, there were no problems.

Perfect for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere is lovely and peaceful.

Nice and super clean room with very large space for kids. Day bed is good for napping. Swimming pool inside villa is big.

Saw the beautiful photos taken by travellers and was attracted to try out. Some villas view are restricted. Breakfast was a little limited in choices. Tried out the spa but experiences were just average. Spa atmosphere was also a little dull. During check-in, the front desk member was very kind to allow us select the room view when our initial room view was very much limited. In-door jacuzzi was available and this was probably the plus point for this trip as the outdoor pool water did not seem good to swim.

We made two bookings, and the staff took great care of us. When they saw that the elderly had trouble walking, they immediately arranged a new room on a lower floor without stairs and closer by. They were very attentive and provided excellent care. We are very impressed :)

Muthi Maya's staff has really good service and they went beyond my expectation to provide me with a cake as it was my partner's birthday. I have stayed with their other hotel within the kirimaya group, Atta, and my experience there was a really good and pleasant one, hence chose to stay at another of their sister hotel. However, Muthi maya is very far from most facilities and facilities are only accessible via their shuttle service based on certain timings or by driving. During the stay, one of my kids experienced a medical emergency, a allergy reaction, a first for me, and Kirimaya group's hotel is not the hotel you want to stay at when you are faced with a medical emergency. Firstly, Muthi Maya's reception does not have the basic necessity of a medical kit or medical bag. We even contacted the Kirimaya's hotel reception and Atta's hotel reception and there was no medical bag that we can have access to. Secndly, the nearest hospital is at least 30km away. My kid's breathing pipe was closing and waiting for the ambulance was definitely not a good idea. So if staying here, Driving is the best way to get here. Other than this huge scare, because i stayed during their 'non-peak' period, the hotel breakfast was not the usual buffet and this was a huge disappointment for me as i was looking forward to a good breakfast given i have stayed at Atta before and the breakfast was really good when i stayed there. one night in Muthi Maya cost twice as much as atta as well, Hence the high expectations. Overall, i would say the room was really huge, and pool in the villa was really clean. but sadly because of the situation i had face, i would reconsider booking this group of hotel in the future.
