Reviews of Hotels in Palm Springs

Well, if you're looking for a romantic getaway, this is not the place for you. Palm Springs lodging is pretty pricey anyway, and the reason this property sells for less will be obvious on your arrival. First, the grounds are abysmal. The parking area and corridors are dirty with wall dents and cracks in the pavement. Sometimes the elevator works; but not all vending machines do. Exercise room is closed off and there was no continental breakfast. Housekeeping only operates for those staying longer than 3 nights. Also, no microwave nor mini-fridge. And someone is putting up a complex adjacent, so there's lots of daytime construction noise. So if you're on a strict budget take your chances here. There are a couple of restaurants sharing the property and Italian cuisine is just across the street. Better yet, there's a discount grocer next to the Italian where maybe you can buy a box of cereal, some bananas, and a small jug of milk substitute for breakfast. The walk to the heart of the town is only 3-4 minutes. So the location works well, especially if you arrive sans transportation. The pool and hot tub were open and some guests were taking advantage. Still, I wouldn't stay here again. That's just my take.

1. Palm Springs Ole shopping for two days, it is recommended to stay here, 30 minutes drive from Outlet; 2. Hotel in Palm Springs County, beautiful environment, convenient parking (6 dollars); 3. Indoor environment is very good, There is also an invincible balcony, an open-air swimming pool (warm pool and hot tub, superb) and a gym. Children like this pool too much. It is very convenient to go to the Palm Springs Outlets. Every time you go to Outlets, you will choose to stay here. The hotel room is very good, big and very clean. The dry and wet separated bathroom is very convenient to use. The car can be parked directly at the door of the room. In any case, it is a very worthwhile American hotel.

The location is fantastic. There are plenty of good restaurants, bars, shops within walking distance and walking is easy since the city of Palm Springs is basically flat! I parked in the hotel lot and walked everywhere I wanted to go. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar but I knew this when I booked so no problem. They do have a small cantina type room where you can buy snacks, some sandwiches, drinks, coffee, etc and ice machines everywhere. The service was very good, all employees where helpful and friendly. My room was very clean and good sized with a large bathroom. The room location was also good, on the ground floor near the pool with a view of a parklike courtyard. The pool was large and crowded (I arrived on Saturday afternoon) and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I took a dip the next morning right after maintenance finished cleaning the pool and was the only one there, it was great! I will definitely stay again at the Palm Mountain Resort.

The year was 1965. Palm Springs' initial heyday as playground to Hollywood stars was ending. Those that could not afford the fancy accomodations VIPs patronized flocked instead to the city’s numerous modest motels built around swimming pools That included my family; my first Palm Springs visit was at a motel reminiscent of the original structure serving as the basis for the current 7 Springs. Fifty-seven years later, I am no longer a child. Palm Springs has regained much of its old mojo, which means that the fancy accommodations my family could not afford in 1965 remain at an elevated price point in high season. The motel my family patronized is long gone, but 7 Springs represents an updated take on the ‘60s motel. The updating is largely a success. There are two pool areas with comfortable seating. (We spent time in one waiting for our room to be ready; it was a lot more pleasant than cooling our heels in the lobby.) Rooms have attractive entrances, trendy furnishings and decor, reliable wifi, and good quality toiletries. Notwithstanding that it was well maintained, our room still fit the template for a modest ‘60s motel and was not spacious; it had limited shelving space (including hardly any in the bathroom) and only one not especially comfortable chair. This was adequate for our one-night stay but those staying longer might find the limited space bothersome. The property is well-situated. The central business district is about a 15 minute walk; within a few blocks are lots of home furnishing stores, several good (if not cheap) restaurants, two fine independent coffeehouses, and an exceptional tiki bar. We were pleased with service at the hotel. Front desk hours are limited and it was not staffed when we had to leave a little before 8 am to catch our cab to the airport; this proved not to be a problem as our room was prepaid.

We planned a family trip and we’re looking for a central location as a home base to explore the area. The hotel is in a perfect location to explore Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park. It is one block away from the main downtown and walkable to great restaurants; easy drive to Joshua Tree and other attractions. It was an oasis away from the bustle of the town; our kids enjoyed the morning breakfast - a great way to start each day and using the pool to cool off after our daily excursions. I would recommend this hotel to others looking to get away and for a good value.
