Ace Hotel and Swim Club Palm Springs
4.1/599 Reviews
I am taking the time to write this review because we were hesitant about our stay given the negative ones below. We had THE BEST time at the Ace. The mid-week vibes were great, super low key guests. Great pool time. What stood out was the food. We ate breakfast and lunch every day and loved everything we had. I can't recommend the Ace enough and I can't wait to come back next winter.
Avalon Hotel & Bungalows Palm Springs, a Member of Design Hotels

I was so-so. They had a good vibe for the Chic part, but the rooms were thin walls, shabby, old and not very private. I would recommend booking a cottage or villa rather than just a room. Beyond the room experience, the restaurant was awesome, the drinks were very good, the people scene, although pretty crowded was hip, young and fun. A few too many ”dogs” for me, but if you have one, you can apparently bring it along and let it hang out in the lounge chair next to you. It was a fun experience.
Best Western Inn at Palm Springs

Palm Springs hotels are lower in price. Palm Springs hotels are basically in the form of hotels because they are closer to Los Angeles and the housing prices are generally very high. Especially on weekends, they are basically 1000+. This hotel can park for free. As our transit station to Redeem Mountain and Ole is good, we just sleep a bit, the rooms are average and the health is average. If you rest overnight instead of coming to vacation, this hotel is OK of
Life House, Palm Springs
3.9/545 Reviews
The hotel is only on the side of the road. The road is not busy, so it is not noisy. It is very easy to find with Google Maps. It is actually the most common two-storey motel in the United States. The environment is not bad. It is surrounded by palm trees and has free on-site parking. There is a swimming pool, warm front desk service, complete room facilities, TV, refrigerator, microwave, gourmet coffee machine, no kettle (like a microwave oven), air conditioner refrigerator is very noisy, American hotel hotels do not provide disposable toothbrush slippers. The breakfast room is very small, three tables, 7-9 o'clock, weekend to 10 o'clock, not many varieties (eggs, sliced bread, homemade waffles, cereal milk, coffee, soda, apple), but there is absolutely no problem to eat. The room has a balcony with a coffee table chair, and the big bed parents have a child to live without stress. As a self-driving tour stop, it is still very good, value for money!

The entire hotel staff made me feel very welcomed to the property. I felt very much at home. Alec always goes out of his way to ensure I'm happy. The entire property has a terrific vibe, and it's definately a diverse crowd. All are welcome!
Vagabond Motor Hotel - Palm Springs
3.9/5100 Reviews
Recently, I stayed at the Vagabond Inn for a total of nine nights as a solo traveler. I really liked it. I was there at what seemed to be a very slow time both for the hotel and Palm Springs generally, so this certainly helped in the hotel being very quiet. It was easy to use the pool and jacuzzi, as other guests there were scarce. The hotel is on the south end of town and super-conveniently located to most things you’d want to do in Palm Springs; it’s also near the Deepwell neighborhood which is full of houses designed by notable architects – a pleasant jog or bikeride area. The first room (322) that I had at the Vagabond was attractively designed in a mid-century mod fashion. The second room (307) was similar, but its bathroom had not been renovated. This room had really the only flaw I encountered in the two rooms, which was a very weak shower. Bed mattresses were a bit too soft for me, but pretty normal for hotel beds. Like some hotels currently, this one was not doing any housekeeping because of Covid. This is a fairly ridiculous excuse, but I did not find it to be a major problem. Likewise, the snack shop by the pool is closed, but given the low number of guests, this is understandable. The pool and jacuzzi are very nice – lots of seating, and a very large jacuzzi. Supposedly, these close at 8 p.m. but fortunately, this did not seem to be enforced. In keeping with another review on here, I note that some kids were using the pool who were not hotel guests – I believe they were friends of the manager. They generally give hostile looks to the guests and sometimes play loud music. During my stay, it was little enough not to be a problem, but the hotel should rethink their policies on this. Overall, very good hotel for reasonable rates.
