Don’t be put off by the bad reviews, our room was lovely and fresh with a nice spacious balcony (a little overlooked by your neighbours) but hey ho! The staff were very welcoming and couldn’t help enough they leant us a travel plug when ours broke, they have a secure staff only room for your luggage to sit in and they even have little rooms for you to shower in and sort yourself out if you have a late flight home. The WiFi was strong in our room I can’t say the same for every room though The air con was amazing we actually had to turn it off during the night because we woke up too cold! Breakfast was easy with a nice selection for all. My only 2 quibbles would be that a fridge is not supplied in all rooms so you will have to make a few more shop runs because food will not keep and the shower is powerful but the shower floor doesn’t have a lip to keep the water in so you may have a fairly big puddle in the bathroom by the end of it. The beach is a 7 minute walk away with one short steep ish hill (you can avoid the steps the hotel staff may tell you about) The hotel is super quiet me and my partner only really saw people at breakfast, I’m pretty sure this hotel doesn’t do entertainment so if that’s what you want this may not be the hotel for you so if you don’t mind a 7 minute walk with a short steepish hill in a quiet hotel with super friendly staff and a midday check out then book up. We spent 10 days here and we wish it was longer Me and my partner will 100% return. Thankyou!

I had stayed at this hotel twice before this visit around 4 years ago and thought I knew what to expect; however this place has gone downhill a lot since then. The location of the hotel is great but that is the only good thing about it nowadays unfortunately. We arrived on the first day at around 11am to be told our room would not be ready until at least 3pm, which we understood and was fine. We put our bags in the storage room and was preparing to go to the beach whilst we waited and was then called back and told our room was in fact ready but they didn’t realise. We were then checked in and given the room key. The room was in the annexe part of the hotel which isn’t part of the main building and is very old and dated. We arrived to the room and stared to unpack when we found the toilet still had a poo in it from the previous guests despite the room being ‘cleaned’. I was happy to accept these things can happen but the room in general had a really bad smell of staleness. After deliberating for an hour we decided to ask to move rooms. The lady on reception told us she had nothing else and we would have to wait 2 nights to move rooms. After saying we weren’t at all happy she then found us another room inside the main hotel which was ready immediately. This did not have the sea view that we had paid for but the room was ready and seemed cleaner than the previous so we thought we would make the best of a bad situation. After unpacking in the 2nd room we noticed that the bin in the bathroom was still full from the previous guests. We were obviously starting to wonder how thorough this place gets cleaned. I noticed the wall where the bed is against was absolutely filthy with dust. I wrote my name on the wall in the dust with my finger on the first night and this was still there on the day we left. We didn’t say anything at the reception as didn’t want to be seen as people who moan constantly at this point. During the first night my partner was cold so she got the quilt out of the wardrobe to keep her warm. This didn’t last long as the quilt absolutely stank once she had opened it up and placed it on her. I am not one for moaning but it was absolutely disgusting so we put it in the shower room for the cleaner. It was taken away and never replaced. On the 2nd day the cleaner left her cleaning sprays in our room which we found funny at the point. On one of the middle days the cleaner came to clean the room whilst I was in the middle of using the bathroom. I explained for her to come back in 5 minutes as I was clearly busy. Despite talking some basic English to us for the time here so far she decided she could now speak no English whatsoever and manipulated the conversation to suit her that she was not wanted to clean the room today. After 2-3 minutes of me clearly explaining at the door to come back later she decided from the conversation she was not needed. I later met her in the hallway whilst she was cleaning another room to tell her she

A super complex with 4 buildings built around various pools. Hotel wasn’t full but there were lots of families various nationalities with children under 7 yr old. Food in the buffet restaurant excellent quality and choice and in the fine dining restaurants superb. There is a gate at the back of the hotel and you are just a few mins walk from the beach and promenade. We stayed all incl and can’t fault anything. Rooms spacious and nice and quiet at night. Only slight ****** they don’t do packed lunches so if u r out for the day you need to eat out.

The hotel was beautifully located within seconds from the beach. The hotel was superbly clean and the staff exceptional. Our room was a little small but not too much of a problem as we spent very little time in there - It does force you to live tidily! The balcony was a bit of a disappointment as we asked for a sea view which we did get but no sun really hit the balcony past the early morning. Whilst the pool area was kept pristine, with attentive barmen and good value drinks and snacks, the area itself was snug. You could find yourself quite close to the sunbed next to you and the sun hits only one side until after lunch. On saying that these are small details as the hotel was gorgeous but for five star if you are being picky these are things important to me that I’d change.

The place of the hotel was literally closed to the beach front and alot of restaurants. I’m sorry if I will give three for the cleanliness, it was based on my experience but maybe once you try it you won’t experience what I experienced. But this hotel is beautiful but I think for summer time it doesn’t deserve the price they offer. Amenities is perfect because they have some saunas and some other stuff if ever the weather will be unpredictable and thats a big deal that I like with the hotel.

a wonderful place this is, there is a reason for score of 5 on TA and not too many places earn that but these apartments certainly do. From first arrival to checking out the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, queries were dealt with speedily and efficiently, big thanks to Daniel, Almudena and Luciano on reception all of them were charming and welcoming and to also Javier who promptly fixed a trivial issue at 8.00pm on a Saturday evening The studio we stayed in was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom and the complex as a whole congrats to all the cleaning staff. This is a small complex with 90 units and that lends a very low key vibe which was very relaxing, one great thing was the system of paying €10 deposit for each pool towel and a charge of €2 if a towel was being changed, sounds off putting but works great as people are reluctant to leave their €20 worth of towels lying on empty sun beds so no sunbed hogging goes on! The towel cleaning charge is another great idea as I have seen people at other hotels etc. changing towels willy-nilly just because they can do. There is a drinks and snack service which are reasonably priced and no entertainment is laid on around the pool or at night in the Lounge. Overall a big recommendation for here and if we are in Palmanova again this will be our choice of accommodation for sure, it enjoys a terrific location just metres from the beach and many bars and restaurants as well as the local bus services.
