Palmerston North Hostels

After moving to Wellington and passing through Palmerston North, I planned to stop for a rest. This motel was clean and quiet. I also caught up with the weekend market the next day and experienced the local customs. It was good. There was a Chinese restaurant in front of the hotel. I liked it. Friends who like Chinese food can try it. Walking along the road in front of the hotel to the Central District, I met an international student from Shanghai. We had a friendly chat and recommended a Korean restaurant in the Central District to me. Unfortunately, reservations were required, so I checked in to a Japanese restaurant not far away, but failed.

We booked the family unit, location is great! restaurant, supermarket and airport are all nearby. Full kitchen amenities, Staffs are very nice!

I had a wonderful stay at the Aubyn Court Motel. Janelle & Selby were super welcoming and lovely. Was treated with a Speights, Chips & a Kit Kat upon arrival which was such a nice touch. I stayed in a Spa Access Studio which was fantastic! Absolutely spotless and extremely spacious unit, great sized kitchen and the in room spa was amazing! There was an abundance of towels and personal products which was great. Bed was very comfortable and had an quiet and excellent nights sleep. Very handy central location can walk anywhere CBD in 5 mins. It was superb value for money and will certainly be staying again when I'm in town next. Highly recommend.

Not too far from the city centre. Old-fashioned hotel, colonial style, very clean, the waiter is also different from the general kiwi's easygoing, more professional sense of the upper class. On Saturday, I caught up with the downstairs cocktail party, and the various classic cars at the door roared for a while. The hotel's western restaurant is good. There is no anti-slip mat in the bathroom, leaving a note that the hotel hopes to add to future customers.

Comfy bed and had everything I needed to eat. Called to make booking and said I’m wheelchair bound. Was told facility would be ideal Had to ask for a ramp to get in the room as there seemed to only be 1 along the floor of my room. Was told it was being used so he brought 3rubber mats to try and make one! Super fail so I had to just figure out getting in and out myself. Room was tiny so had to rearrange the furniture to be able to get around. Great room if your physically able and don’t want to stay too long. Only gave it a 3 as they didn’t seem to mind I was there till 10:30am to check out as I was waiting for my ride.

Very good services particularly mentioned late for check in and arranged after hour check in service for me. Moreover when informed broken of coffee machines and they changed new coiffed levels machines for me to use. Thank you for great and excellent services.

We have been staying with Mark & Belynda every February for the last 5 years. The first 3 years in a larger two bedroom apartment with my older parents. More recently in Studio room with Kitchenette. We come for an Annual Speedway event and the organisation, care and support this couple put into their guests stays each year is amazing. Our rooms have always been beautifully clean and pleasantly decorated. New little touches added each year helping to make our stay more enjoyable. This year it was a Nespresso machine and an adorable new support manager in Sir Harper the kitten. Looking forward to seeing you again next year.

Well below average accommodations. Dirty floor, under equipped kitchenette, no garbage bin or wipes. No bedside lamps. Dingy feeling. Could not recommend at any price. Standard below that of a cheap motel in the boonies. Paid parking was in an open vacant section and charge was more than advertised. Glad only one night here.
