We have just returned home from a non stop weekend in Palmerston North. My husband chose this Motor Inn because it had the novelty of the double spa bath. We drove down from New Plymouth on Saturday morning, running late as per usual. Our friendly host Ruby rang to check where we were. Easy to find and ample parking which is rarity with the bigger establishments! Ruby was there to meet us and give us a tour of our upgraded suite. A quick change and we were off to Aorangi for the most beautiful wedding. The reception was in town so a short 8 minute walk home after. Although it was late we had to try the spa. Takes a while to fill but definitely worth it. Plenty of room for us both too. Sunday we were up early to catch Kmart and a quick goodbye to the Grooms family. The reception from Ruby on departure was also lovely. We hope to stay here again sometime with a bit more time to relax and fully appreciate all the amenities! We could not fault our room, comfy bed, heaps of fluffy towels, immaculately clean. Fully self-contained with a decent iron and recliners. The new owners really take pride in this place!

Just stayed here for 4 nights honestly the best motel in NZ we have stayed in. Not exaggerating. It’s modern and has everything I have always hoped to find in a motel unit when staying a few days - an oven, a single dish drawer, a spacious separate bedroom, double glazed windows, a full size fridge ….. and a double spa bath!!!! All units have them! Depends on the unit you choose of course!! We are in PN every month. We will be staying again if you hadn’t worked that out! I didn’t mention the Owner / Manager - Ruby. Really impressed with her and the place she’s running plus the cleaners were excellent. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
