The girls at the front desk were very helpful and courteous. The room was basic. I had it for five days. It was a 10 to 15 minute drive to the hospital every day, which wasn’t that bad. I was disappointed because I had to ask for the pods for the coffee. The only ones they had in the room were two decaf and they never supplied refilled pods at all. They don’t give you any more lotion than the little one they give you on the very first day and the TV was my biggest complaint you cannot get regular channels. You have to sign into your Netflix and it’s all streaming very frustrating. Breakfast was good. They did supply eggs and potatoes one day the next time eggs, potatoes, and bacon one day eggs and sausage one day so it’s not a full breakfast buffet like it’s advertised. The wine tasting was a one time deal I got to do on Tuesday. They have it Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday but since I’m at the hospital to 830 I only get to do it one time they made an exception for one time only otherwise for a glass of wine will average you out to $22.Dollars.

Stay at The Nest was pretty decent and the places is located pretty close to stanford. My problem with The Nest is the checking in process and extra charges charged/attempted charges to my card at checkin. I had already paid for the room through the website, but at checkin they charged me again for the room and multiple additional attempts to charge additional amounts. When I visited the front desk about these charges, they claimed no knowledge of these charges and claimed these were not showing in their system and refused to reverse any charge. Still waiting for a reversal ... no reversal sign as yet !!
