The place has a beautiful scenery since its located on a hillside with a very quite ,nice and a very conducive environment and of course with great hospitality from the staff at the hotel. I definitely enjoyed my stay at Hotel El Sol.I loved it

The hotel manager is one of the kindest persons I have met in the hotel industry. He has service with a smile. Good breakfasts for a reasonable price and excellent cleanliness in the room. Also, very quiet except for an occasional dog barking at night. If looking for a hotel away from the noise of Pana this is the place.

The owner and staff are incredibly friendly. They have good breakfast. It’s clean. All for a really affordable price. I would highly recommend it. The location is far from the city center, but it’s such an easily walkable distance that it really doesn’t matter.

Yes this hotel is quiet and the owner is polite but it is a strange place and a bit grimy. It is super cheap so that is worth considering but i wouldn't stay here again. The walls in our bathroom were mouldy and the whole place is in desperate need for some updating. There is a lot of wasted potential, such as the huge roof terrace with great views but nothing up there except bare concrete and there is no other outside space except the enclosed driveway with a swinging chair in the corner. Also, in the lobby there is tea and coffee supplies for 1Q each but no way to make hot water, it doesn't make sense. It's also really far out and yes you can get a tuktuk for 5Q pp but we like to walk but it's a good 30 minute walk into town. Great if you are driving or are really not keen on going into town but i think there are better places for the same money.

Nice hotel. A little off the main streets. About a 10-15 mi. Walk to all the bars/restaurants.
Staff very friendly. Available parking on site.
Rooms were simple yet decent.
Overall pleased stay for just one night.
