Reviews of Aloft Panama

The location is super convenient with tons of restaurants nearby. The Japanese restaurant next door is very popular, and prices are quite reasonable. However, I think the cleanliness could use some improvement. It's also very close to the airport, and the soundproofing in the rooms is pretty good. The breakfast selection was just okay.

There were fleas on the bed, and my colleague got bitten too, but the environment was pretty good, so I guess it's acceptable.

Overall, this hotel was conveniently located (if you have a car/Uber places) had decent service, and a nice breakfast included in the room price. The two things I did not like: 1. Check-In was at 3pm but our room wasn’t ready until after 4pm. After 8+ hours in transit having to sit around and wait was discouraging 2. One of the windows in the room had paint or some kind of exterior stain and had no view at all…

Not bad. You can't smoke in the hotel.

EVERYONE..and I mean EVERYONE at this hotel that I encounter was so wonderful and nice..from the front desk staff to the WXYZ bar staff to the Red restaurant staff..everyone was so great!!! I never saw who cleaned my room everyday but they did a wonderful job!!! Thank you!!! If you are in Panama City book with Aloft!!! The area has a lot of restaurants to eat at too!!! If I am in Panama City again I will definitely stay at Aloft!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

Aloft gets five stars for the amazing value it represents. Amazing location, super spacious rooms (with an ocean view on top floors such as ours), good breakfast and parking included for a fraction of the cost of other high-end hotels.

Wasn't as clean as it could be. The staff was okay very lacking. Breakfast was boring, and monotonous ended up just getting breakfast at the malls. Valet basically non existent, annoying taxi service at entrance, really annoyed that there barely were any floor staff especially upon check in. Will stay again because of location and price.
