We loved our stay at Magnolia! Came back twice during our Panama vacation. Beautiful property that mixes private rooms and shared hostel rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking distance to Casco Viejo restaurants and shops. They offer airport pickup service. Only drawback is you have to hike the stairs to get to rooms.

Great location in beautiful and vibrant Cosco Viejo. Comanagers Joseph and Simon were friendly and always willing to answer questions and provide helpful suggestions with rgard to dinind and things to do in the area.

The Desk manager in particular Joseph was great very knowledgeable, attentive , caring , it was like he owned the place he was that good .

We booked 3 seperate stays here over the co**** of two weeks.
First room, was musty, but alright. Zero internet anywhere in the hotel.
Second room, was bad. It smelled like mold and was very dark. No desk, closet, or minifridge like the 1st room had, but had wifi.
Third room was the best, no moldy smell, but also no internet connection (there was wifi in the lobby and common areas).
Enjoyed having access to the kitchen, which was shared with the hostel half of the hotel.
Overall alright, but with the concerns of no wifi or terrible moldy smelling rooms, I would probably book elsewhere next time.

MAGNOLIA Inn was very clean, all staff exceedingly helpful. Easy walking distance to many great restaurants.
They have airport to and from Magnolia in for $35.00 cash each way, up to four people.

The place is old, and looks it. The AC barley worked. There are no amenities. The photos on the site make this hotel look much nicer than it is. Parking is a hassle also.
