Montecarlo Villas Panglao

The room was beautiful!! Really enjoyed it! We could also cook in the small kitchen. The only downside was the slightly remote location, getting a taxi was slow. Renting a car would probably be more convenient! The pool water was very clean, which made swimming more enjoyable and worry-free.

While not as picturesque as the photos, the overall environment is good. It's a villa complex, and the entire area is villas, which makes it a bit hard to get a taxi. A bad experience was having a group of Filipinos having a party in the next room, very noisy! There's a kitchen with pots and pans so you can cook yourself, but the pool isn't regularly circulated, and we couldn't find the switch. Overall, I'm still quite satisfied.

The hotel was fantastic, and I'd definitely stay here again next time! Just a small suggestion: some of the facilities are showing their age and could use an update.

We really enjoyed the privacy of the villa. The pool was clean, and the courtyard had a nice area for relaxing. In the evening, we played chess and Jenga, and swam in the pool. Overall, it wasn't bad. The kids didn't want to leave and begged to stay longer.

I would highly recommend this hotel for families with children, given its price and facilities. It's only a 5-10 minute walk from the largest supermarket on Bohol Island. Since we don't like eating out, we cooked every meal ourselves. The resort provides basic kitchen utensils and cookware, which I found fantastic, as it meant we didn't have to bring our own for our long trip. We stayed for eight very relaxing nights. Tomorrow, we'll sleep in, cook, swim, and then take the free shuttle to the beach. The kids love it.

It's very close to the airport, about a 5-6 minute tuk-tuk ride. The swimming pool is deep, reaching a depth of 2 meters, which is great for diving enthusiasts, but you need to be extra careful if you have small children. The decor and facilities are a bit old, but still quite complete. You can cook your own meals. We stayed in the first room, right next to the reception desk, which was a little noisy, but it wasn't a big deal when we were out having fun. There's a fairly large supermarket nearby. It's about 200 pesos by tuk-tuk to Alon and the city center. Overall, it was okay. They even gave us a box of donuts for Valentine's Day. The only downside was their promised free shuttle. The shuttle does stop at the door, but you have to check if their driver is available. I stayed two nights and couldn't get one from the reception; I had to take a tuk-tuk myself.
