Worst ever experience at this place. Was told to leave a day before because they overbooked. Telling me I said will stay for one night but paid for two nights. Refused to get my one day money back. Had to end my holiday early and go home because of greedy staff. The hotel stunk no toilet paper. Got stopped by the cop trying to get out because shooting in the motel. Do not go here!!! Wasting your time and money.

Terrible and dirty. Staff communication was via a phone app translator. Facilities not up to basic standards, rooms are dated and dirty. Amenities in the room? Everything needs to be replaced and/or updated. Stove top is cracked and the elements have one setting HOT!!!! No milk upon arrival then to be told there is no milk at all for guests. Worst accommodation that we've ever booked.

Read the promotion info. Sounds ideal. Up market, private spa, sunny deck, what more would you want? My advice is don’t book it. We looked at the facilities and didn’t bother unpacking the car. It is in need of a major spruce up. The room had a weird and musty smell as if it had been closed up for days. The furnishings looked as if they had come from an op shop. So just keep driving. It’s not worth the money.

The linen was dirty, the room was smelly and when I booked a room, I had specifically asked for one with a spa pool and I PAID for it. However, we got a room with a spa bath that didn't work! We were told that there were no other rooms. I asked why did you say yes we have a room available for you with a spa? I speak not good English was my reply! At the end of my stay, I was told that some of the other tenants were actually homeless, ************ and the place was used for emergency housing! Never again!

It was an extremely disappointing stay at P.S.L. for what was supposed to be the lead up to my birthday on Dec.11th. My partner of 15yrs, proudly made the booking himself but didn’t check out the ratings (there were none to be seen). It wasn’t what we would have expected. • Parking was a squeeze as another guest couldn’t park straight. • I literally wanted to leave after 5 mins of being in the room - It had a musky odour that never went away. • The indoor table was budget and marked • The indoor chairs were coming apart on the corners • The carpet wasn’t clean and fresh. • The wardrobe doors and walls were scuffed, marked and unclean. Back of the front entrance door, also marked and dirty. • The ranch slider sills were dirty with mould and dead flies. • The outdoor table was rusty and the glass top not wiped. We had to clean it ourselves with hand soap from the kitchen • There was a huge cobweb in the corner of the outdoor spa – I definitely wasn’t getting in that. • 1 ply toilet paper – thanks for nothing. • Flimsy plastic toilet seat • Broken flush button on toilet. • No towel rail in the bathroom – just rusty protruding parts left where there may have been one. • Shabby bathroom cabinetry with peeling paint on edges and filthy dirty behind the U bend. • Unsightly markings around the door knob in the bathroom – goodness knows what that was. • There was no milk supplied for tea and coffee - shouldn’t have had to ask for it. Very unprofessional management. Because of the uncleanliness of the room, we didn’t feel assured of sleeping in the bed either so we chose to sleep on top of the bed, using the bed throw as a blanket. I didn’t sleep well, the odd time with people upstairs walking around, people talking loudly outside and at one stage what sounded like domestic violence i.e. drunken male yelling, then female yelling. Hence, we got up early, no shower, straightened the bed and unused towels better than we found it, and left around 6.45am on Sunday morning.

The lady that checked us in was very kind and helped me with several requests This motel has been our absolute favourite motel for many years , have stayed around 4-5 times before. The last time we stayed we noticed things going down hill but this time was just unacceptable. Someone’s old meal was left in the microwave, dirty plates , and cutlery , dirty sheets, dirty pillow cases and mattress protector in which we had to request new ones to change everything before sleeping in them . No soap in the bathroom, no tea or coffee. To be honest the room did not look like it had been cleaned at all. No matter how run down a place may be getting due to lack of finances for repairs etc. there is no excuse for poor cleaning and low standards of hygiene . They definitely could do with extra staff as feel like one person to manage everything is a big expectation. Sadly it has put me off going to stay which we are all disappointed about.

The unit was filthy. The carpets were marked and dirty. The walls were scuffed and in need of paint. The curtains had mould. This room was cleaned in a rush for us as we were told it was the only one available. I had to ask the cleaner to return and clean the unit which was riddled with cobwebs. She did not bother to clean the cobwebs in the bathroom. The cleaner was also asked to vacuum the unit, which was not done when she cleaned after the previous users. The linen was ripped and marked with felt colouring pens. Cockroaches were crawling along the wall behind the headboard. We moved our beds away. There was a constant odour in the room and the AC could not be switched off. This could have been the solution for the smelly room just keep the AC going non-stop. Room 4 was Disgusting, Filthy, and Shocking. Cleaning staff need sacking. The owner needs to step up and take responsibility. Do not stay here. Maria & Pauline

Very disgusting, dirty motel! The $340 suite looks like a drug den. The maid was cleaning our room inside with her dog and a beer in her hands! Everything is so old, smelly and dirty that it was dangerous to stay there because of unsanitary conditions and we left. the owner didn’t contact us , calls, emails was ignored! No refund after complaint! The motel needs to be completely demolished and a new one built, it is not residential! Just disgusting motel disgusting service and staff!

Tired and below average. The asset is quite tired with a general clean all over needed and some running repairs required in the rooms. Basic amenities not provided in the rooms. Not overly clean. For the cost - not worth it al all.

Stayed here once, never again. I think it was home to homeless or winz clients. Very rough foul mouthed tenants. Old run down place. Won’t be back I was only here for one night thank goodness. Internet photos are NOT correct likeness . If you value your life or vehicle DONT stay here. Should be shut down.

Requests for a late check in were not acknowledged. When I rang to check they told me I was not booked in and then rang back to say I was. I asked for a ground floor room as I was travelling by bike but got an upstairs room. They said they’d leave the room and laundry unlocked for me but neither was. When I went to try and find the room key I found one left out, but when I went to that room it was occupied. Thankfully I realised before I let myself in. The night manager found me and helped me out and was genuinely helpful but the offer to store my bike in reception didn’t work out when reception doesn’t open till “maybe 9”. Was left doing hand washing at midnight despite having specifically chosen a property with a guest laundry. Hoping I don’t break my neck trying to get my bike back down the stairs. So disappointed as it is a really beautiful property let down by poor organisation and communication. Don’t stay here if travelling by bicycle.

This is a basic motel lacking in a few touches that would bring it up a level. Communcation was poo with my emails going unaswered and when I phoned the person just said "hello"! and was difficult to understand if I was in fact talking to the motel. No instructions were anywhere about anything - the heated pool has outlets that can burn you. It is also very deep but nothing to tell you about it. No instructions as to how to work the outdoor spa. Nothing about emergency after hours numbers or where to get food. The electric kettle cord did not reach any power outlet in the unit. Shampoo and conditioner provided for one person but not a single cake of soap, a hand towel or facecloths. The fridge is tiny, but ok for a night or two. The fitted sheets did not fit and kept coming off the mattress. The equipment in the kitchette was minimal, with no jug or bowl to heat things in the microwave. It is however a good place for a short stay as it is clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It has a good heat pump too.
