I could have stayed forever, what a little gem this place is- highly recommend The hotel is lovely, stunning views of the most beautiful bay, i could see the sea and hear the waves lapping the shore from our room Staff all amazing, Dimitris our barman made our holiday and we sat and chatted almost every evening after we had been out for dinner. They were all great Angelos , Alex, Maria and Jess, the reception staff, the guys in the beach restaurant, the original owner who we spoke to every morning at breakfast- feels like a proper family run hotel. Food was fantastic, we had lunch almost daily at the beach restaurant and a couple of evening meals in middle restaurant. There is a choice of 3 places to eat up top where you have breakfast in the morning, a lovely restaurant in front of the hotel and the beach restaurant in front of that. Alternatively you can have lunch brought to your sunbed , these are free but a minimum spend of €10 each , my only negative here is that you have to have lunch on your sunbed and it didn't include eating in the beach restaurant which we preferred to do so we stayed at the pool most days. The walk over to Parga town harbour was up a very steep hill and down lots of steps the other side which was a bit of a killer but a taxi is only €6 and even better is the taxi boat for same price, Huge choice of restaurants, lovely views of the harbour and lots of cute shops We did the boat trip to Paxos which was lovely and hired a car one day which was also great as this is a beautiful part of Greece to see. Anastasia our Tui rep was fantastic and organised everything for us We will definitely be back one day i was sad to leave

We stayed in a studio apar**ent which had everything in it you would want. This was our fourth time at this Hotel. ALL of the staff were friendly and helpful, this is from the cleaners, bar staff, restaurant staff. This makes such a difference. There are a couple of points i would mention. The sunbeds could do with a clean as they are out 24hrs a day, i have seen that birds poo is a problem for the sunbeds. The toilet door in apar**ent is frosted glass which i am not a fan of, prefer solid door. I also felt Christos was not his normal self, he seemed very stressed when we was greeted by him on arrival. Our last trip in 2019 Christos would always say hello with a smile, this time this did not happen on this recent visit. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, its had a bit of work done it, upgrading different areas of the hotel grounds.

We have just spent the last week staying at the Valtos Beach Hotel - it’s such a lovely place. We booked direct and opted for a superior, sea view room. It’s a family run hotel with hard working, friendly staff. What was lovely to see was the elderly greek gentleman (who we think may have been the original owner) greeting staff, waving to guests whilst sat having his morning coffee. The breakfast was a buffet - cooked, continental, fruit, cereals, Greek yoghurt, pastries. The restaurant area was overlooking the pool and sea with outside seating too. There are a lot of steps at the hotel which maybe an issue for guests with limited mobility. The swimming pool area was not overly big but on the occasion that we went there was sun-bed availability. Pool towels are supplied and you are allowed to use them outside of the complex too. We stayed B & B as wanted to dine out at local restaurants. On one evening we went to the hotel’s Akti Restaurant and the food was fantastic. We also had food whilst using the beach loungers - very nice and good value for money. There’s so much to see and do in the area. It was better value to hire a car for the week than pay for an airport transfer. The road from the airport is so easy and takes just over an hour. We did the Acheron river trek, Antipaxos & Paxos boat trip with Marco Polo, drove to Agila Restaurant above Sarakiniko Beach to watch the sunset, went to Ali Pasha castle and stopped at Anthousa on our return, visited Ammoudi Beach, Ai Giannakis Beach, Lichnos Beach, Karavostasi Beach. The walk to Parga takes about 15 minutes but does involve a very step pathway and then a lot of steps down to the harbour area. If you are less mobile you can take the water taxi from Valtos Beach. There is a lovely vibe, day and night in Parga with many eateries - some with fantastic views. Stefanos Taverna, Sakis Restaurant are on the top ridge and overlook Valtos Beach - can recommend both. We have had a fantastic holiday and can’t wait to return to the Valtos Beach Hotel.

Sadly, just about to leave this perfect hotel overlooking the most stunning bay of Valtros Beach. Had a sea view room with a balcony looking out to the bay, just perfect. Definitely recommend booking a sea view room, however, if not, you will still be very happy with your hotel choice. Highly recommend.

We have just returned from a fabulous 10 nights at this amazing hotel. We stayed in a superior sea view room which was very comfortable, clean and well presented. The staff are fantastic, particularly the beach team who work incredibly hard. Breakfast is superb and nice to sit outside overlooking the bay. Lots of steps so you need to be mobile to stay here. Boat ride in to town at night for those who don’t want to walk up steep hill. A small moan. Would be nice to have better beach beds, cushions and deck chairs as they don’t really go with the beautiful resort, and need replacing. Highly recommend this hotel. Thanks for a great holiday.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Valtos Beach Hotel. The setting is beautiful with the most gorgeous views. There are 2 restaurants and a beach bar, all of which are lovely and the food was to a very high standard. (The grilled squid was delicious!) We stayed in a superior sea view room and a suite both of which we loved. The service was fantastic and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We would like to say a special thank you to Lily, Christos and Dimitri, not to mention the main man Stavros whom it was an absolute pleasure to meet. If you are thinking of booking this hotel don’t hesitate you will absolutely love it. We loved Parga and staying at Valtos made our trip extra special..

Just had lunch today at Valtos Parga Beach Hotel Restaurant with my wife and another couple. Got to say this is our 3rd trip to Parga and the food and service is normally exceptional, but this was by far the worst meal I have experienced in a very long time. Greek Salad was terrible, Gyros where pure fat with no meat at all and the chips (separate potion) were Frozen and over cooked…. I brought this up with the waitress who could see we weren’t happy, but to be fair she professional and said she would pass our comments on. We had finished our drinks and after 15 minutes later, decided I would go to the bar and pay the bill. Again I was asked how was our meal, in which I reiterated how poor it was, I had no apology and paid the bill in full…. Then as I was waiting for my change, to my astonishment I saw a bar tender filling up a Grey Goose bottle with some local spirit…..I asked straight away what was she doing (she looked extremely embarrassed) and Iasked to speak to the manager. When the manager came, he was the most ignorant person you could ever speak to, in reference to the food, he simply said “well that’s how we serve it”….when I mentioned the Grey Goose incident he came up with some story that the staff know it isn’t Grey Goose and they don’t use it as such….. Again, no remorse, didn’t want to listen to me, customer service skills were zero….how he has the position of Restaurant Manager is beyond me. I actually said to him his attitude wasn’t good enough and I would communicate this on SM in which this still didn’t bother him… My advise is keep away from this Restaurant

This review is for the restaurant only. Lovely beach side table, beautiful view and the food was great. However when we asked if we could pay, we didn't get a bill, the server just said cash or card. We replied cash and the server spoke the amount and waited at the table whilst we organised our payment, leaving us feeling very uncomfortable ... not very professional way of doing things especially for such a big hotel and restaurant. We won't be returning.
