Assia & Nathalie - Luxury B&B Marais

We searched high and low on Trip Advisor for a clean and comfy B&B in a safe and quiet neighborhood for our 5-night stay. Assia et Nathalie near Place des Vosges in Le Marais ticked all the boxes. We truly appreciated the preserved charm of the gated historic residential building with modern conveniences like an elevator, updated plumbing, and motorized window shutters. Since our time in the City of Light was abbreviated, we packed our itinerary. It was important to start our day well-fueled. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious and filling breakfast, consuming freshly baked goods, a variety of tasty meats and cheeses, and an assortment of succulent fruit. Every night, we returned to the guesthouse 21:00-22:00, washed the day off in our well-appointed bathroom stocked with posh toiletries and plush towels. We slept like babies in the cloud-like, yet supportive bed. A perfect setting for much needed restorative sleep after sightseeing all day. From the moment we stepped into the B&B, we felt at home not just because of the beautiful décor & design, and attention to detail, but also because of the genuine care and hospitality of Assia and Nathalie. They are kind and generous. Assia answered every email inquiry promptly. She informed us of the flat rate taxi fare to and from CDG; gave us accurate directions and suggestions on the quickest and most economical way to our destinations (by bus, by subway, by train); loaned us multiple local maps and museum guides; offered to make restaurant reservations… personalized assistance right there! We loved our time in Paris, taking in all the sights and sounds and calling Assia et Nathalie our temporary home as we were well-housed, well-nourished, and well-guided.

Loved our five night stay with Assia et Nathalie. Appreciated the elevator, the walk in shower and of course the enticing selection for breakfast each morning. And it’s in a wonderful location in the heart of the Marais. Assia was always willing to provide assistance and information to help with our stay in Paris. Hope to return some day.

Fantastic place to stay in a superb location in Paris. Assia looked after us so well, and was like having our own personal Paris Guide. We enjoyed starting each day with a beautiful breakfast, nice conversation and loads of helpful tips for getting the most out of our stay. At this price you will only get mid-range hotels in Paris, but this is a lovely room, in a great location with super service. We shall return !

Excellent location in the heart of the Marais. Room was very nice and cozy. Room was cleaned every day. Daily breakfast was great. Asia was a pleasure to deal with. Rate was very reasonable. I highly recommended and would certainly stay again.

Last week we stayed at Assia et Nathalie B&B for the second time. It was as wonderful an experience as it had been in 2016. The rooms are as quiet, comfortable and beautiful as ever, breakfast was as delicious and sumptuous as before and Assia and Nathalie were as welcoming, charming and helpful as before. Assia has a true gift for history and sharing her love of Paris, particularly the Latin Quarter and the Marais. She took us to see how the reconstruction of Notre Dame is progressing, through the Ile de La Cite, through the Place des Vosges, to several cafes, cheese shops and pointed out shops and restaurants. Both Assia and Nathalie provide excellent directions on getting to and from train and metro stations and they were happy to arrange taxi and restaurant services for us. These women operate such a warm, inviting bed and breakfast. My husband and I will always stay with them when we are in Paris.

Assia et Nathalie was a wonderful experience! Our room was very comfortable and quiet. We slept well in the comfy bed, and loved the large windows for fresh air and courtyard view of a green oasis in the city. Assia could not have been more helpful or more lovely. She served a delicious continental breakfast with croissants or pain au chocolat, fresh squeezed orange juice, fantastic cappuccino and a tray of perfects fruits, among other things. The location in Le Marais was the best, so convenient with plenty to see and do in the nearby area. We will be back for sure when we come back to Paris! Merci beaucoup Assia!
