Les Rebelles Hôtel

The hotel has no elevator or air conditioning. The breakfast has no standard whatsoever, neither in the food nor in the schedule, as many times we arrived without bread or cheese, for example. The location is reasonable, not a very nice place to arrive at night with children. However, it is close to two stations. The stations have connections, which is positive, but because of this, at the same time, the carriages are always crowded, until late at night. But for me, who was with a small child, the thing that bothered me the most is that the hotel has a kind of bar/nightclub, which plays very loud music until 11:30 pm almost every day of the week. Oh no!! Younger couples, without children, it might be a nice experience, but for us it wasn't. Beware of the "City tax" charge; in my case, they were charging 50% more than I should have paid.

Friendly hotel staff immediately addressed any concerns about the floor. A simple and delicious breakfast is provided. For fit families visiting Paris, these connecting rooms are excellent on the 4th floor (no elevator).

We received a warm welcome. Although we had fans, air conditioning would have been more comfortable.

I booked two rooms at the hotel, one for myself and one for friends. Our rooms were adjoining, but we didn't open the door between them. We were living next to each other anyway. The hotel has a great location, between two metro stations. The area is a bit noisy, but you get used to it. Comfortable beds, excellent shower. Clean linens and towels. There's a refrigerator and a capsule coffee machine. Excellent cleaning and service in the rooms. The only downside is that there's no air conditioning in the rooms, only a fan. We left the windows open to let in some fresh air, but one of the windows didn't have a screen. Therefore, the room was infested with mosquitoes. There was a mosquito repellent on the nightstand, but it didn't keep all the mosquitoes away. If they install air conditioning in the rooms, it would be absolutely perfect.

The hotel is well located in the multi-ethnic Belleville neighborhood. The amenities are standard, but the only downside is the lack of air conditioning. Especially since we stayed during a hot spell with daily temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius (fans are available).

Overall, considering the low cost, this is a great option for a stop! The gentleman at the reception is a very nice person!

You have to climb stairs and the location is a bit ambiguous, but it was still cozy.
