WS Opéra - Galeries Lafayette

Terrible place. The photos displayed in the site do not correspond at all with the place. Dirty space, tiny room with a division in order to sell it as an extra room. No space to store anything, not even the luggage. Not suitable for more than two. The towels were so old and run out that it was disgusting to use them to dry. Rude personnel. The so called apartment was in such a terrible condition and dirty, that we have to leave earlier and look for another place to stay. Despite all of this, they sent me a bill to pay for a cleaning fee. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE GO ELSEWHERE! No me gustó nada. No es un departamento es un cuarto con una mampara que simula otra recámara. Lugar sucio, descuidado. Entrada apestosa a basura. Las toallas viejas y percudidas. No hay lugar para guardar cosas. La cocina no es funcional, el frigo es un mini miniibar diminuto al que no le cabe nada, sólo yogures. No hay espacio para comer, o usas la mesita o entras al cuarto. No apto para más de dos personas. Un fraude! además no es nada económico. Hay cientos de lugares que sí ofrecen calidad.

We stayed at this property and were woken in the night by a gurgling sound coming from the bathroom. By the time we got up there was poo coming up from the plughole in the shower. This meant we could not shower or use the toilet. We called the property to see if there was somewhere else we could wash and she said no but that somebody would come out to fix it and call us. We didn’t hear anything back except for generic messages saying they were looking into it. In the end we had to check out and leave for our flight. We have asked for a refund but are yet to receive it, and the only thing we have received is an invoice for the city tax. Hoping to receive a refund soon.

I would like to mention excelente customer service, staff member Gabriella was on the phone and helped us to sort out reservations issues. Staff was very kind, polite and helpful. Highly recommended Apartments WS. I’ll definitely stay with you my next trip to Paris. Thank you🙂

The apartment was really well located next to Madeleine and the French Parisian boutiques! There is Galeries lafayette gourmet. We received the breakfast every morning on front of the door. It was delicious and complet. Also, very good customer service!

Overall a very disappointing experience. We booked and paid for a double bedroom and received a smaller unit - booking not honoured. Insufficient laundry provided. Would not stay there again in future AVOID. Location is nice and central.

FRAUD - BEWARE!!!. The property was FRAUDULENTLY mis-sold on *********** as a 2-bedroom, 1 lounge apartment with 2 double beds and 2 sofa beds and a fireplace. We booked it for a party of 5. It actually had 1-bedroom and 1 lounge, and 2 double beds. NO 2nd bedroom. NO sofa beds. NO fireplace. Owners then claimed this was a synchronisation error, that affected other customers too (but never bothered to let us know about this). *********** stated we would get a refund - we were offered a move next day (after 1 night with 5 adults in 2 double beds) when we were already out for the day. Then offered a breakfast for 4 the next day as compensation (having spent EUR800 with 50% of beds missing), which we declined (and gave to the cleaner as it was still delivered in a brown paper bag that probably cost
