ibis Styles Paris Meteor Avenue d'Italie

Unfortunately the executives of AlLL Accor Hotels = Ibis Styles believe that in Paris, an electric kettle and two cups are "a privilege". You pay a room over 100€ a night to have the bare minimum : no tissues, no kettle, no cups, no fridge, no door labels (don't disturb)... the room was clean and well made by the cleaning staff. The breakfast was fine although the morning was obviously slow and overwhelmed at the rush hour. Scrambled eggs were made in a small dish for a traffic of over 80 people at pic time... we waited 30 minutes to get some and obviously guests were starting to compete and argue... on Saturday the breakfast staff was definitely slow and not really interested in doing any better.

The location is extremely convenient, with three subway lines and one tram line nearby. The complimentary buffet breakfast is quite extensive, though it does tend to get rather crowded. During the morning rush hour, there is a significant wait for the elevators.

2-min walk to metro and bus station. Metro Line 7 brings you to major sightseeing places. Bus 47 gives you good city tour. Room is big and clean with shampoo and body wash. Breakfast has fresh fruit and juice. All staff are friendly. I love the mirrors designed in front of the bed. Free sparkling water fountain on ground floor to top up your bottle 24/7.
