First, the good: the aesthetic of the hotel is exceptional, especially the lobby and the bar. You receive a personalised welcome including a history of the hotel. The rooms are super quiet and dark at night and you'll for sure get a good sleep. The bad: the rooms are very small and the one we got (Rose) was a disappointment compared to the photos. The room lacked basic amenities like tea and coffee which you get in even the most low budget hotels, and when the front desk was called to ask about this, we were offered tea brought to the room, but then charged 20 euros (we got this removed from the bill of course, but this should not have happened to begin with). The service was very slow during our stay, both the check-in but also the breakfast. It felt like it was understaffed, even though at breakfast it was only around half full at the time. In general, the service level attempts to be more personal to justify its 5 star rating, but clearly more staff are needed to pull this off properly. The spa was too cold to enjoy. I would not stay again, but would consider visiting the bar to enjoy the unique atmosphere.

It has a very charming atmosphere, instantly transporting you to the romance of the 18th century. The location is excellent, very convenient for walking around Montmartre, and it's right across from the Moulin Rouge. The decor is very distinctive and memorable.

Not a 5-star... A little rascal with tiny rooms and not up to 5-star standards, no high-end products, and a spa that is also small and not of high quality. Move on if you don't like the ambiance of a slutty hotel in a slutty neighborhood.

Very good👌Beautiful environment. Later I found out it used to be **. The waiter also took me around and explained it. Very good service. There is a spa inside that you can enjoy privately because it was too late to see the Moulin Rouge.

It's great. The Moulin Rouge is just downstairs. It's very convenient to watch the show. There is a spa on the first floor, which can be reserved. The small swimming pool is very beautiful.

l to the point that it is a total ripoff and definitely not deserving of top luxury reviews. First of all, the place is filthy. See pictures. Carpet throughout is disgusting and rooms have not been properly clean. The dim lighting makes it hard to nice at first that you’re surrounded by filth. When we called down to complain about the cobwebs and films of dust everywhere, we didn’t even get so much as an apology. They just said “that happens sometimes, we will tell the maid to clean tomorrow.” The staff is also totally just phoning it in. They could care less about you, and are not polite or hospitable. And it’s all just strange. At one point the tiny silent lobby was filled with a delivery man hanging out on the sofa and a painter who was repairing the spa (which is looking sad too) was eating his lunch while blasting TikTok with no earbuds. It felt like the waiting room of the DMV. Management here has clearly stopped trying or caring years ago. Don’t waste your money! At this price point there are so many wonderful 5 star boutique hotels to experience in Paris. Anything more than $250 a night here would be too much, given the filthy rooms, shabby interiors, and bad service

Maison Souquet feels mysterious and luxurious with its rich interiors and soft lighting, creating an intimate atmosphere that feels more like a private residence than a traditional hotel.
