The People - Paris Bercy

The front desk staff was very friendly. The bathroom and toilet were separate, which was convenient. The blackout curtains worked really well. There was one electrical outlet. You need to bring your own lock for the locker in the room. As expected in a hostel, you have to be mindful of noise at all times, and your rest can be easily disturbed by others. I checked in late and checked out early, so I could just about tolerate it. If you have the option, definitely stay in a hotel instead.

1. **Convenient and Safe Location**: The metro station is just 100-200 meters away, and it's situated in the relatively affluent 12th arrondissement of Paris. 2. **Great for Shopping**: Within walking distance, you'll find Auchan, Monoprix, and the value-for-money king, Lidl. In the mornings, there's also a market right outside selling fresh fruits and vegetables. 3. **Cleanliness**: The place is spotless and well-maintained. 4. **Free Luggage Storage**: You can store your luggage for free both before check-in and after check-out. 5. **Kitchen Facilities**: There's a communal kitchen with shared cutlery, plates, an oven, microwave, kettle, and more, making it easy to cook. 6. **Spacious Wardrobe**: The wardrobe in the room is large enough to fit a 28-inch suitcase (which typically holds around 23kg of luggage).

The Japanese restaurant nearby is delicious, and there's a supermarket close by for groceries. It's also very close to the subway station.

The environment is excellent and the location is superb, with a subway station just a short walk away. This is by far the best European hostel I've stayed in. The rooms are large and even have a balcony. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and a hairdryer and clothes dryer are all provided. The bed space is quite generous, with a curtain, charging port, and a small locker. Downstairs, there's a kitchen and lounge area. There are many Chinese guests, so there's a high chance you'll be assigned a Chinese roommate. During the off-season, it might not be full, which would make for an even better stay.

This hostel has an amazing location with three or four metro lines nearby, making it super convenient to get to the core areas of zones 1-4. However, you can't cook your own meals here 🍳. The restaurant on the sixth floor offers fantastic views!
