Price is good for the location. Good choice if need a clean place to sleep and spend rest of the time out of the room. There is a basement with a washing machine. Must contact hotel before arrival to get PIN code to access door to building and PIN code to open room door. Room only has 1 fan and no AC. No place to sit besides bed or a single stool. Not quiet at night because room is above dining places.

Service: There is no elevator, only a very narrow spiral staircase. It is so narrow that a person carrying a suitcase can hardly turn to go upstairs. It is not only inconvenient but also very dangerous. My room was arranged on the fifth floor. I stumbled up five floors with my suitcase in my hand in the middle of the night, and I felt a bit broken. Early in the morning, I carefully carried my suitcase down the fifth floor... very unfriendly to people with suitcases. The room is very small, and there is almost no place to stand except for the bed. It can be considered by those traveling on a budget, but not recommended by those who are a little more particular about it.

Nice hotel. Too bad the ground floor room is in front of the hotel entrance and you can hear the door banging all night. The room is not very soundproofed because you can hear guests coming down the stairs.

Le Marais is a such a fun. The room was spacious, clean with a small courtyard. The bed and pillows were not comfortable to me but might be perfectly fine for others. Hotel is well located with cafes, restaurants, boutiques, etc, close by. I would go back.
