Reviews of Hotel France Albion

The hotel's location was excellent, within 1-2 km of all tourist attractions, and right at the exit/entrance of the metro station. Additionally, the hotel was on the same street as markets, restaurants, and cafes. The hotel was clean, the staff were very attentive and hospitable, and the breakfast was almost perfect. Air conditioning was available, and there was daily room cleaning service. We would love to stay at Hotel France Albion again on our next trip to Paris.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic, close to everything we needed. The room was spotlessly clean, modern, and very quiet, which made for a great night's sleep. A special thanks to the friendly staff who made check-in and check-out so smooth. We will definitely come back!

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by the customer service of this Hotel during the current heatwave in Paris. Due to exceptional weather conditions (40°C for several days in a row), my professional event in Paris and my trip in general were cancelled. Seeing that such extreme temperatures are normally considered as force majeure and perceived as circumstances that are out of our control, my other reservations (train tickets, event room, videography services, catering, etc.) were rescheduled to a later date for free, despite their booking policies. The only exception was this Hotel. Unfortunately, despite my multiple attempts to negotiate the cancellation or date change due to meteorological conditions, the Hotel kept my reservation, charged me the full price of the stay and didn’t propose any other solution. I am sure the Hotel itself is lovely, but this situation shows me that the customer’s wellbeing is not their main priority. What is more, I booked the last available room in the Hotel, and it’s sad to realize that it remained empty, while I’m sure many people in Paris could have benefitted from it during the 40°C heatwave in the peak of the tourist season. I believe the Hotel’s policy should be reconsidered and should remain on the customers’ side when it comes to force majeure conditions.

I was only there one night, but the staff was great, the room was comfortable, and the neighborhood was cute. Would stay again!

Although compact, the bathroom was clean and very comfortable. I stayed for two nights, and they changed the towels and cleaned the room properly, and although the breakfast menu was mostly the same, it was delicious. There was also a towel heater, which was convenient for drying hand-washed items. It was a shame that there was no kettle or refrigerator, but the staff were very helpful and overall I was very satisfied with the hotel. It's a hotel I'd like to stay at again if I come to Paris again.

I usually don't write reviews, but the cleanliness of this hotel is terrible. I went there at night after a tiring day. It was almost 10 o'clock when I finished cleaning up, and there was still feces left by the previous guest in the toilet. If I could not get a refund, I would not stay here. There was also hair on the bed.
