Best Western Quartier Latin Pantheon

First, regarding cleanliness. The room was generally clean, but it smelled terrible. Even after ventilating the room every time, the smell wouldn't go away, which was a problem. The location was good, as it was close to the metro and bus stops. Regarding service, the front desk staff's attitude wasn't very good. It wasn't so much unfriendly as it was minimal conversation. I left my luggage after checking out, and when I went to retrieve it in the afternoon, the front desk staff had changed. When I asked the staff if I could retrieve my luggage, they said, "I don't know where it is, so you have to retrieve it yourself," and I ended up searching for it without even knowing where it was. The way the luggage was managed was also questionable. Regarding facilities and amenities, water was only provided the first day and never replenished, the cups were never washed, and the coffee maker (which serves as a kettle) hadn't been cleaned, so when I turned on hot water, it came out brown with coffee grounds. The room was also very small, and there wasn't enough space to open two suitcases, so I had to leave them on the bed. I don't think I'll be returning.
